Lack of communication

Bed was all fine once I finally got it however the communication from the company could do with some improvement.
I ordered my bed on the 14th of March where I then received a confirmation of my payment.
After a week I still hadn’t had any other messages or communication from the company about my order or if it had even started to me processed so at this point I was starting to get a little worried.
I also payed with Klarna no I checked on there and Klarna still hadnt took my payment as it was claiming the company hasn’t processed the order yet.
At this point I emailed the company just for an update on my order however did not receive a reply. So I came on here and saw a lot of others was experiencing similar issues and the company was replying to their complaints on here so I thought I’d write my own.
I got a phone call not long after my complaint where I was told my order is coming and had a very patronising customer service assistant who then directed me to delete my review as he can ‘assure’ me that my order is definitely coming, I explained that until I had some confirmation of the order actually being processed and sent to me I will delete it. It was only then that he emailed me with this information then pressed on again at my deleting my review, which I did.
I later that night got my reply on the email I initially sent which I found funny as they care so much about saving face that they are quick to jump for the bad reviews (almost immediately ringing me after I wrote it to get me to delete it) but cannot check their emails that would of saved me having to even write the review at all.
My bed came in 11 working days so it came within the time frame and everything is fine with the bed, as stated my problem lies with the company’s communication, when people are making big purchases like this it would be nice to make sure we are getting emails with updates about our orders as since ordering it on the 14th March I only received the payment confirmation and the email I wouldn’t of got until I asked for it. Then once the courier had the bed I finally got more communication on my delivery but that was because it was a different company and not directly from BedsDivans.

We are sorry to hear about the delays you have experienced. However, we can confirm that once an order is placed, two automated emails are sent to the customer (provided the email address entered at checkout is correct), confirming the order status.

These emails clearly state that once the delivery is booked, the couriers will contact you directly via text message with the confirmed date and time. Please note that we do not hold detailed delivery scheduling information, as this is managed by the courier.

With regard to your review, we are able to investigate this matter further. You mentioned being asked to remove it, and we would like to look into this in more detail.

Delivery lead time error

Prior to placing order( March 9th) I confirmed delivery lead time of 3-5 working days over the phone and started getting nervous when I hadn’t been given a delivery slot and couldn’t get through on the phone. It was pure relief when Raja called from bedsdivan to talk me through my issues and managed to confirm a next day delivery slot. He was patient, understanding and worked hard to reassure me and I now have a slot tomorrow evening. Fingers crossed all arrives as planned tomorrow

We can confirm that your order was cancelled after you contacted your bank, without allowing the full delivery period outlined in our terms and conditions.

Had we proceeded to dispute this matter, the outcome may not have been in your favour, as we would have provided evidence of our stated delivery terms, under which the order was still within the agreed timeframe.

However, in line with our commitment to customer service, we made the decision not to contest the dispute and issued a full refund.

To date (18th March) I have not heard anything other than "I'll get a text when delivery will be arranged".

UPDATE: company contacted me after initial 1 star review, explained they had another 4 working days to deliver (even though my original order had a much earlier date). Bed arrived a day or 2 later. Delivery drivers called a couple hours before delivery to update me. No issues with delivery. Bed does the job for my kids.

Honesty is a good policy

I waited 19 days for my delivery and can't say it was a seamless experience, I was extremely frustrated as there were a lot of misconstrued truths. Maybe it is a way some conduct business but it doesn't gel with me.
We eventually received the item and my son was extremely happy with the goods.
The spokesperson has requested that I edit my original review. So while I believe in honesty. I do want it known that while initially frustrated there was a happy ending.

The couriers have attempted to contact the number provided on your order three times today, but unfortunately received no response. A text message was also sent confirming that your delivery was booked for 20/03/2025—please refer to this message for details.

We understand that the original contact number provided belonged to your son; however, as discussed, this number was not able to receive standard calls or text messages (only FaceTime audio), which caused issues with delivery communication. Following our conversation with you via FaceTime audio, you provided an alternative contact number, which we updated on the order. The couriers were then able to proceed with booking, and we can see that the delivery slot was accepted.

Your delivery has now been rescheduled for 21/03/2025, as confirmed by the couriers. We have attempted to contact you again today twice, but have not received a response.

Excellent value for money

Excellent service throughout my order. Excellent value for money. The bed was in excellent condition when arrived. The communication regarding delivery was great. I highly recommend this company.

Very good mattress

Received the mattress this morning and I'm very happy with it .
Lovely quality for a very good price.
Communication with this company is excellent any questions I had were all answered promptly.
Would very highly recommend and will definitely buy from this company again .

Brilliant bed ,mattress and headboard…

Brilliant bed ,mattress and headboard at a fantastic price.I bought this bed for my granddaughter she absolutely loves it.The communication and delivery was really fast and most of all delivered on the time stated.The delivery man was outstanding he placed the bed in the place I requested without a fuss.Overall I couldn’t fault the service I received.
