On February 24th, you ordered three rugs. We inquired if you would like us to ship the package with the custom fees that would be incurred upon its arrival in Mexico, as is customary procedure for clients subject to custom duties. After receiving your assurance that you will cover the charges, the package was dispatched. Unfortunately, you declined to contact the customs office when you arrived in Mexico, which led to the parcel getting stuck.
It is crucial to get in touch with local customs office to learn the procedures for receiving your rugs and clearing customs.
We apologise once more for the confusion and anguish this situation has brought about. Please get in touch with us if you have any more queries or worries, and we'll try our best to address them.

I ordered $1,980 worth of rugs (3 rugs)…
I ordered $1,980 worth of rugs (3 rugs) and the company never sent them. They took my money and won't respond to any of my communication. It has been over a month (40 days since purchase).
Updating in reply to their response. This is a total lie. I certainly never agreed to pay any Customs fees. They said "free shipping and arrival in 3-5 business days (that was on Feb. 24). I would have never agreed to dealing with Customs but have contacted them and they have told me that textiles of more than $1,000 cannot be shipped from outside of the country. There is no way I am able to get them out. How can Benisouk take my money for something they never were going to be able to deliver on. If benisouk wanted to help, as they've suggested below, they would respond to any of my emails and/or refund my money, since I will never receive the product. Benisouk never has the ability to deliver on this sale. BUYER PLEASE BE WARNED. Benisouk.com is a scam and crook.

As is standard practice for customers subject to custom fees, we asked if you would like us to ship the parcel with the custom fees that would incur upon its arrival in Mexico. You confirmed that you would take care of the fees and the parcel was shipped. Unfortunately, upon arrival in Mexico, you refused to contact the customs office and the parcel was consequently stuck.

Pretty but flimsy for a Beni Ourain
I bought a small rug from Benisouk (around 4 by 6) about 3 months ago and received an email from them last week saying they'd give me a free pillow if I wrote a review here. So first off, be aware that some of the reviews you see on this site may have been written to get free pillows.
The rug looked exactly like the site photo so I was happy initially but pretty quickly, I realized there's something that's make this rug different from the other Beni Ourains I own-- it's much thinner, more like a blanket than a rug and never stays in place, moves around constantly and has to be repositioned frequently. I don't know much about rugs but I'm pretty sure the issue is the amount of threads or knots per inch and I don't know if the rugs sold here vary in this quality but I would recommend finding out and comparing with other rugs before purchasing. Since the rug is good looking, I would have given 2 stars but I'm deducting one for the attempted bribe.
