We needed a Mantel for our wall above our log burner.
We ordered and the new mantel arrived in about a week. So pleased and exactly how it was described on the website. Looks amazing 🤩. Will be ordering oak shelves next!!

Ordered a sample pack to confirm the colour required to start. We then proceeded to order a dinning room table, bench and a coffee table. The quality of the products is A* as are the fittings. Really happy with the products and look forward to using them. Would really recommend the company with them using sustainable products and bot mass produced. Reasonably priced.

We bought 2 beautiful oak shelves and from the date of purchase the communication was brilliant. They kept us informed of progress every step of the way, and the delivery was very fast indeed. I made a mistake with my order and called them for assistance and they were so helpful, fantastic customer support. We will definitely be buying from them again.

I ordered a Rustic oak mantle from here and the quality is outstanding it looks amazing. I originally ordered the wrong size and the company could not have been more helpful in helping me return it and reorder the correct size. The best customer service I have had in a very long time. My delivery arrived really quickly and I would definitely recommend ordering from this fabulous company!

I am updating my review as things have progressed and the service we have received and the resolutions offered have been above and beyond.
I have however left our original review to provide context and to show that when things do go wrong, given the chance Ben Simpson Furniture will reach out to find a resolution.

Original review- I’m really sorry to be writing this review because I was expecting to be purchasing a high quality table from a reputable company who are proud of their products and customer focused but that hasn’t been our experience.
We purchased a dining table, which arrived damaged. In fairness they addressed the issue and sent out a new piece of timber. We did have to wait almost a week for this but given it’s made to order we understood. What we don’t understand is how badly it’s packaged, with nothing but a cardboard box around the plank with no padding, meaning any damage to the cardboard easily results in damage to wood.
I’m sorry to say our issues did not end there. After receiving the new plank we constructed the table with relative ease. After a week or so the table was used and wiped down with a damp cloth (only water). It caused immediate lightening of the wood where it had been wiped. We contacted the customer service to see why this would happen. This is a dining table and should be wipeable. We were told that this could happen and, this is the insulting part, we were told where we could purchase the wax they use to fix the problem! After spending close to £400 on a table I do not expect to have to fix it myself at my own expense. Sure this was should be sealed! When I said that I was not happy with the solution they offered they stopped responding. At the very least a solution that was not at my expense should have been offered. Furthermore the lack of understanding and respect for your customers and products a like is shameful.
We gave two stars based on the first issue being resolved but in all honest I will not be ordering from you again and it is my strong recommendation to other customers to continue looking at other companies, it is unlikely you are going to get any issues respectfully resolved or value for money.

UPDATED- since the review, I have to acknowledge that Ben Simpson reached out to resolve our issues.
They explained how a communication error led to our belief that they had stopped communicating and apologised for this.
Additionally, they ensured that we were not out of pocket in addressing and resolving the original issues.
The customer service and communication has been excellent since and upon reflection i would say it’s better to know and have confidence in a company that they will make things right if and when things go wrong than not having any experience at all.
We have trust in Ben Simpson furniture and that means we would be extremely likely to purchase from them in the future.
