Does exactly what it says on the tin. Can't get in narrow or shallow driveways but will fit most roads and not averse to partial parking on pavement. Happy chappy drivers. Didn't come with cones or lighting if you are thinking of overnight parking.
We put the bulky heavy furniture in storage having sold our house and moved to temporary accommodation whilst new house purchase completed. Of course took longer than expected so overran the 4 week rental twice. No problem, money taken from credit card automatically and when finally delivered only took rental for the two weeks overstay. Unless you intend keeping the pod on a highway for an extended period I wouldn't bother pestering the Local Authority for permission. Bear in mind they don't deliver/pick up on Saturday/Sunday but it takes a lot less time to unload and can deliver in morning and pick up in afternoon.

Booked at short notice and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use again - not that I ever want to move again! Have to say the delivery driver was amazing and so so helpful.

Great service, kind and thoughtfull staff, highly recommend. Have now used PODS for 2 house moves and will most likely use them again in the future.

Pods were an absolute lifesaver for us after we had our moving date agreed with a week to go! They fitted us in and we had our Pod ready to load within a few days. It really took the stress out of moving for us and allowed us to pack/unpack at our leisure. 10/10, would recommend and use again should we ever need to!

We are really grateful to the team at PODS for the support of Cash for Kids. We have used the units as storage for our event materials and more recently to store and sort gifts in for our annual Mission Christmas appeal. Great customer service at a great price. What's not to like? From the people in the office to the guys who dropped off and collected the unit, everyone was polite and helpful which made the whole experience simple and pain free. I would definitely recommend them and I have no doubt we will be using them again.

Helen and Diane were my main contacts, they and the drivers all went out of their way to help me make our move happen before the Christmas Eve shutdown.

As a non-driver this was the easiest and most convenient way for me to move house. So much less stressful and cheaper than trying to do a full house move in a single day with a removal firm or a man and van.

This is definitely the way I will be moving house going forward.
