I love your hats! I have several. But this one was large for its size and doesn’t fit well at all.

First of all, thank you so much for your loyalty and for collecting several of our hats !
I’m really sorry to hear this one doesn’t fit you as expected. Even when we use the exact same pattern and cutting shapes, each new fabric can react very differently once the hat is assembled. The density, softness and elasticity of the material can slightly change the volume and the fit from one style to another.
As all our pieces are handmade, there can also be small variations from one production to the next, which is part of the charm, but I completely understand that it can also be frustrating when you are used to a certain fit.
Also, don’t forget to play a little with the strap at the back. It really helps to fine-tune the fit depending on the material and the way you like to wear it.
Of course, we would be happy to help you find the best solution together.

I love the hats BUT hate the lack of transparency about duties
I love the hats, BUT, I had to pay 1/3 of the price of the hat on duties charged by Trump's tarriff policies. I know that these are Trump's fault and not the betonxcire, however, I should be notified of this much more clearly at checkout, as I would not have made this purchase had I known this.

Thank you for your honest feedback, and also for taking the time to point out that the tariff situation is unfortunately linked to recent U.S. policies rather than the hats themselves.
You are absolutely right: even if these import duties are outside of our control, the information should feel clearer and more visible before checkout. We completely understand how frustrating it is to receive an unexpected customs bill afterward, especially when it represents such a significant extra cost.
The good news is that we are actually launching a new system within the next few days for U.S. customers, where duties and taxes will be included directly at checkout from the start. This means no surprise fees upon delivery anymore, just the final total displayed clearly before payment.

Great product, my 4th hat! Shopping was super fast 6 days from France to Nova Scotia In Canada. UPS provided updates along the way so I knew every step the parcel took.
