I am a very disappointed customer. The AC vent clean tech showed up with a minature shop vac to clean our the vents to not only request my wife to "close all vents" but also clean up the dust left beh... See more

subpar service
Was not good experience at all! I selected air duct and dryer vent duct cleaning for $149. My assumption was that return vents were included, NOPE. The charge was, at minimum $110 per vent to clean...I have 5. I let Von know what I could afford and the expectations and there was a BIG miscommunication. The machine was hooked up to ONE supply vent downstairs to "pull dust/dirt from all vents". No other cover was removed to clean. When I asked about it, i was told that's part of deep cleaning. I damn near got into an argument with the dude over the miscommunication. I've spent WAY less on groupon and the tech removed ALL covers, cleaned in the vents with brush tool to get the dust off the ducts and check the furnace. I was told to it's would be in excess of $700+ to do all supply and return vents. CRAZY!!! I essentially had to call another company to come out and do the job right. They took off ALL the return vent covers, the supply vents that I had concern with removed, cleaned the covers, cleaned the furnace plenum, replaced the filter, sprayed sanitation in the ducts, showed me before and after pictures, etc. I have no clue what I paid for with BHO and why I had to pay the extra, which was $272 total, but I had to pay before the job was done and I approved, I didn't get visuals either. I asked the dude what did I pay for and why the covers weren't removed and he said the vacuum (hooked up to one supply) did the job. It didn't. The new company showed me the dust/dirt still in the ducts a week later. BHO website doesn't fully explain what you are getting for the cost. Apparently $149 is for maintenance only, but don't list nothing about the extra costs, so you won't know until the person gets to your house. I feel bamboozled. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I called this company to clean my…dryer vent
I called this company to clean my upstairs dryer vents. What a mistake. The tech came to the door and wanted to see the job. He then called his supervisor who told us the cost would be $575 or so. We told him that was excessive and we would be getting another estimate. He explained that it was a big job and they had to clean out the vents and then do safety checks by checking to make sure it was all out. He reduced the price to 450. We said this was too much. After alot of talk he reduced it to $325. That is still excessive compared to the going rate. We said ok to get it done so we could use our dryer. The tech took 30 minutes and then asked for a tip which we declined. Today two days later, I find outside on my landscaping a lot of dust and debris. Also the cover to the vent was broken and laying on the ground. We will now have to replace it. I am sick of companies always trying to rip you off.
Unprofessional and rude
The dispatcher told us they would clean the dryer and inspect it along with the vent for 79$ day of that’s not the service no shop vac no cleaning of dryer inside and tech had an attitude that was so condescending within minutes like they treat the women in their country. I would never use this company
Be Careful
The individual ANAT Air Duct Cleaning was who presented for BHO Chimney. The service call was appropriate for the dryer cleaning service; however, it ultimately went awry. $79 for the dryer cleaning turned into $149, which I accepted given the need for a 2-way clean. I accepted based on the explanation. The issue arises when, 10 minutes later, it comes to $294 because they removed and replaced a 'plastic' flap that we had already purchased. So, $149 to clean the dryer vent, but $144 to replace the plastic flap (10 minutes) using our materials????
Scammed
Their tech named Michael came to inspect. He inspected the fireplace and attic. In the attic he took a picture of a roof leak, but got nowhere near the chimney pipe.
Outside, he took a picture from the ladder but never got on the roof to inspect the chimney itself. He said he needs to reseal and quoted me $695. I don't know anything about chimneys so I just agreed and paid $150 deposit.
Before Michael came to finish the job, people told me I got scammed so I went on the roof and checked myself.
Found a roof leak right above the chimney. Checked the chimney and shingles, seals looked fine.
So basically, I did the inspection for him and found the true cause of the leak.
I wanted to solve it peacefully, so I called Michael first, but he was just arguing even when I told him to come and check for himself.
I tried their office next but was told the manager will call me back. Well they never did.
I got another company to fix the roof leak and they said the chimney was fine. There has been no more leaks.
I filed a report with the consumer protection unit and is waiting.
Overall a bad experience.
Do not hire these people
Do not hire these people. Hired to clean and inspect chimney. They didn’t inspect chimney.. stood on ground and took pictures. Never really inspected.. didn’t even use ladder.. They didn’t lay drop clothes or pull carpet back. Covered entire room in chimney dust and soot. I had to clean myself. I complained and they knocked $100 off invoice if I paid in cash… crazy!

SCAM SCAM!!!!!
SCAM SCAM.. Do not use! Fake 5 star positive reviews!!!!!!
If I could give zero
If I could give zero, I would! The crew came in & did not lay plastic down until I asked and still did not lay down cloths to protect my carpet. They cleaned small parts of my inner fireplace-left most of it black! They dropped creosote ashes all over my white hearth and carpet!!!! I don’t even believe they know how to clean chimneys. They are a fraud. They did not return calls. I finally spoke yo the owner and he said he can’t do anything?? They should not have charged us and should have paid for carpet cleaning and I had to get out a toothbrush and baking soda to scrub my grout to get it close to white. Ridiculous criminal business!!!!
This is a scam business
This is a scam business. DO NOT USE!!! They waste your time with appointments they can’t keep, then they refuse to answer your calls.
Do NOT hire this company
Do NOT hire this company! They advertise as being licensed and insured, but when asked for their license number became extremely rude and even hung up on my husband! Pretty sure they are not legit, and are falsely advertising themselves as licensed. We asked for a full refund when this happened and surprise surprise, have not received it!
UPDATE: I called and left a message with this company after they had responded to my negative review. No one ever called me back. No refund received. I stand by my original review. This company is illegitimate!

NEVER AGAIN
Scheduled someone from this company to address a water issue. Ben came with someone that I found out later was someone he picked up from Home Depot that morning. The guy was putting tile grout on on my chimney. He was going to charge me to change the chimney sleeve without changing it. Ben arrived in a small SUV, no ladder no intent to do the work we discussed

DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!
DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!! If I could give this company a zero star, I definitely would have. I had called the BHO Chimney Sweep for the Chimney inpsection. The technician they sent to complete the work gave me an invoice with a different company name on it. It did not have an invoice number, there was no address on the invoice, all handwritten, no license number or any indication of licensed / insured. He did not accept credit cards either. His company vehicle did not have the company name or anything on his vehicle. He completed the work within 20 minutes and took the payment. Once he left, I looked up the company name that was on the invoice, i cannot find them anywhere on Google search or anywhere! At this point, I do not know if /how much damage he's done to my Chimney within 20 minutes he was here but PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The inspection may be only $69 but they will charge so much more for "repairs" that you probably wouldn't even need!! Stay away from them if you are looking for trusted licensed, insured professionals working on your Chimney/fireplace!!
I suggest reading other most recent negative reviews left for this company by different people.
Totally bogus website claims. Poor confidence in this business.
I'm guessing these 5 star reviews are bogus. Their BHO Chimney website looks very impressive but when they bill you, you're paying another company. And they are not certified, licensed, insured. My over all impression of them is somebody working out of their garage. They're very unorganized at every step. They tried to overcharge me $330 on my final bill. I'm just hoping the work they did holds up. Fingers crossed!

My name is Stephanie and I manage the Owner’s Real Estate Portfolio which includes a property you recently "serviced".
My Tenant’s let me know they recently had your company out for a Chimney Inspection; the results reported to me about the issues found as not an issue. Once I have a report of damage noted in the fireplace, I can work with the Owner on next steps needed. That isn’t an issue at this time, we are thankful for identifying any potential issues needing attention.
My concern is the HVAC Check that was performed as well, resulting in the technician finding what he identified as “mold”. Please provide me with your Companies State of Texas HVAC License information. I was not able to locate this online and if you were in the homes HVAC System, we will need that information immediately. From the photos provided, someone was in the ductwork and that was unauthorized.
Please also send your Company’s EPA Certification for Mold Assessments/Testing/Remediator, as I was not able to find it on the State of Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation TDLR website. Please provide me with a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance as well.
I am assuming you do not hold either of those Licenses or Certifications, which leads us to a very large problem. Based on an unqualified, non-licensed, non-certified technicians assessment, my Tenants rightfully want further mold testing etc. At this time, you will be paying for that testing, should there be any issue found, we will absolutely be taking care of it immediately.
I will only communicate with the Owner of BHO Chimney moving forward since my calls are hung up on and my emails go unanswered.

My mom scheduled an appointment for a roofing inspection and then our area was hit with an ice and snow storm. She knew the appointment (3 days away) would not work with the conditions and called to cancel in advance to be respectful. The call center rep was incredibly pushy and didn't care about the conditions and her request. She was finally able to cancel. Then on the appointment day she received a call from the technician who was very rude when she explained she had already canceled. We assume this was not communicated to the tech. And he snapped at her and said "Fine! That's all you had to say and hung up". Will not be rescheduling due to the customer service. Don't care how good of a job they may do.

I called and made an appointment around 3 PM. Then he called me at 2 o'clock saying that he was on his way so I had to leave work early. I came home and the $69 charge was not needed. And then he informed me that to clean both my chimneys would eight hundred and ten dollars? And then after tax, it was one hundred and ninety one. When he left, I started a fire and it still remained smoking in the house. I called and informed them that that was happening and haven't heard back from them. I then went and vacuumed out the fireplace and looked up at the chimney, and it was not clean.
I’m very disappointed with BHO Chimney
Speaking with a “Sean,” when calling BHO St. Petersburg (813-922-3049), I set up a dual chimney inspection. I clearly explained to Sean that the job was at a 3-level townhome, and that the tech would need both an extension ladder to reach the 2nd floor roof, and then a step ladder to reach the 3-rd floor roof. Sean said he’d make sure the tech had the correct ladders required for the job. Sean further stated the inspection cost would normally be $69/ flue; but, as the tech was already on the job the cost for a dual flue would be $69 for the two. I then told another, 3rd neighbor (with their flue a few feet away) of the planned appointment; that neighbor called the same BHO St. Petersburg (813-922-3049) and set up an appointment for the tech to inspect their (3rd) flue too. The cost for the three should have been $138.00 (Sean having stated the dual flue would be done at the cost for a single). However, the tech charged $200.00, stating Sean failed to take into account the height of the work. And, the tech showed up without the necessary ladders for the job: I loaned the tech the use of my 8-foot step ladder, so that the 3rd level could be accessed. These are the facts, and I’m very disappointed with BHO, and will tell all my other townhome neighbors to NOT use BHO.
