This shop is superb. An amazing range of different clothing types with a huge range of sizes to fit anyone. I wish there were more shops like this around. They asked what I wanted and the staff couldn’t do enough to find the right sizes in various items. A special mention to Sue who was magnificent. Shopping for larger items can be a real headache and awkward but the John Banks shop and staff took all of this away. Cannot wait to go back

We visited yesterday to outfit my tall and big husband. This was my first visit but he is an existing customer. I was impressed by the personal service and warm welcome we received on arrival at the store, made even better by the easy parking outside. A member of staff,Sue, helped us to put together a number of suits and separates and she was wonderful; offering helpful advice and suggestions, her knowledge of the differences in fit between makers and lines meant that we were able to create a capsule wardrobe in very quick time. All of the staff were polite, warm and welcoming with very professional service in a friendly environment that clearly values its customers. Excellent range, size options and good quality items. We were also purchasing shoes and had a very good experience served by the John Banks manager in their adjoining shoe shop.
I would heartily recommend John Banks and hope that they are, indeed, able to develop a women's line in the future as they will have my custom without doubt.

Amazing shopping experience. Sue was so helpful & extremely knowledgeable. It was my husbands first store visit & he was so impressed with the quality and selection. He needed some work clothes. We went into Birmingham first to look around, however we wish we had not bothered & just visited this store instead. It has better sizes, a huge variety & such friendly and helpful staff that make you feel at ease. Also, the sizing is a lot more accurate than say, the big and tall section at Slater mens wear in town. We would deffo recommend. And we will be back! Thank you. And thank you Sue for your patience with us.

Today I was served by Jack, Jack was extremely helpful and seemed genuinely interested in my needs , very polite and respectful, also quite funny,would recommend him to anyone ,great experience .

Found this retailer when searching for a larger suit size - the whole range of clothing offered seemed to be of a high quality from a long standing seller + the advert stated ample parking outside. I travelled to their shop and was able to park outside. I was served by a very helpful sales assistant, Nettie, who was able to find a larger size 56” chest navy suit for me. I was happy with the price, the quality and the service, that I also purchased a shirt, socks and a pair of extra wide size 12 shoes. I was very pleased with my shopping experience as it has always been difficult to find quality, decent priced and stylish larger sized clothes. After returning home I opened an online account and ordered a leather belt. Highly recommended retailer - I will be making further purchases in the future.

Bought joggers after buying elsewhere last time. Was glad to come back to the ones from Big and Tall, because they were much better in quality, and also a better fit. (The others were a bit optimistically sized, with an indecently low waist) So glad to return to Big and Tall. Won't look elsewhere next time- will just go straight here

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at the shop my review is a bit late but they truly deserve it. We were served by a man called Andy who dressed amazing and gave us a sort of template of what I would suggest my boyfriend to go for because he isn’t comfortable shopping for himself. Thanks to Andy (who is very fit compared to my man) I knew the exact style I wanted to see my partner in and it fit him just the same. Andy went up and down the shop to find the perfect fit! Lovely lad. They had a lovely range of styles for different events or moods. Overall lovely experience, would highly recommend.

Just visited John banks shop in erdington Birmingham for the first time to buy a suit for an upcoming wedding and I have to say they were fantastic. As a big guy the choice was terrific and the staff,especially sue,were first class and really helpful,nothing was too much trouble.

We visited on the search for a 3 piece suit for a family wedding. We were welcomed and allowed to browse. Chris came to help us, just by looking at my husband he was spot on with sizing and fit of the jacket required he was very helpful with shirt and tie recommendations too, far from pushy he was more than willing to give advice. The fact that we could get everything under one roof so to speak meant my husband didn't feel he was shopping too long either so he was very happy, top to toe, including shoes in one.

Very helpful in sorting my suit for my sons wedding. Thank you

Excellent, suit a perfect fit and delivered on time

Always a pleasure to drop in and see Ian, Sue and colleagues and as always they didn't disappoint. More than helpful and after I had given them an idea of what I wanted out came the clothes. Go and see the huge range of clothes for the larger, taller guy, not just old fashioned stuff but brilliant garments your skinny friends will be jealous of. Go now.

Needed a shirt for a night out so looked on the John Banks website and, to my joy, found my shirt at a very decent price. On arrival, upon inspection, I realised that I had got myself a quality purchase too. Thank you

Staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. We travelled from Chester to get a suit last minute and we couldn’t fault the price or quality.
