Buyers beware!!!!!!!!…

Worst company ever auto renew bordering on fraudulent phone them and expect to be on hold over an hour try to cancel online and they don't recognize your policy number or details this is a well rehearsed con

Worst customer service ever

Had my may holiday cancelled 2020 due to COVID 19 so we booked for the same dates in may 2021, I contacted this useless company to ask them to just change the dates, all this was long before the first holiday dates. At first I had an email saying they would be in touch & should be ok. I then didn’t hear from them for months & when I did they could not transfer to any dates after April 2021. So I said fine could they then refund me my payment at this they offered me less than a quarter of the price back!! So I phoned to make a complaint & after holding on for almost 2 hours I was finally offered as a gesture of goodwill they said half my money back. Again I sad no I wanted full payment as none of this was down to any fault of mine. They then wrote & said they would not be changing the offer but I could go to the ombudsman which I did. Again after a long wait they said they have looked at it & was referring it back to the insurance company & since then nothing, not a word. I wouldn’t mind the 2 weeks cover cost £22 which will not break me or them, but on principle I want my full payment refunded but somehow I can’t see it happening.
I would hate to think if I had gone on holiday & needed to claim what would have happened. This must be the worst customer service I have ever had. AVOID AT ALL COST

Dubious insurer

Insured for trip to Australia which was cancelled due to covid 19 upon the direction of the prime minister. And Australia's prime banning all persons not Australian nationals. On my first contact
with said company they said that Corona virus was known about prior to my dates. They tried to ignore their responsibilities. However I do not give up easily. Continual emails and phone calls led them to offer me 50% refund. Not enough I replied. Referred to Insurance ombudsman.

Insurance claim for holiday.

I have been trying to make a claim with company since march 2020. I have emailed them numerous times and i get the same message back. I am taking this to the financial ombudsman.

I would never use this company again…

I would never use this company again because the service is unbelievably bad. I’ve been trying to change my travel dates but they don’t answer the phone because their dialling system to speak to the right department has been disconnected. I’ve emailed them several times but no one gets back to you. It’s a big con and they should be held to task. I will be contacting the ombudsman to complain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Booked holiday insurance through this…

Booked holiday insurance through this company and will never use again. My holiday was cancelled due to Covid 19, i contacted them to ask to move insurance to another date or a refund and was denied both requests.
Another money grabbing firm that does not think of its customers.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY DO NOT PAY OUT

Am insulted that I have to leave 1 star for a imbomidable insurance company whose policies aren’t worth the paper it’s written on. They refused to pay out for three flights cancelled by the airlines and nearly £3k out of pocket but the will pay out if it is delayed plus use COVID as an excuse not to pay out. Biggest load of tosh avoid, avoid, avoid.

Fast claim settlement

After having to cancel trip to Australia due to family illness,Big Blue insurance have made up the penalty cost imposed.
Claim took 10 days, really impressed and will use again

Avoid at all costs

This company auto-renewed my annual car hire excess policy with no prior warning. I have been trying to get in touch with them for weeks to cancel the renewed policy but there is no way to contact them. All of the phone numbers take you to a menu but then you can't get any further as it doesn't register when you select a menu option. It feels like a total scam.

Took out a policy with this company

Took out a policy with this company. Due to CO-VID we didn’t travel that was Apr 20. I’ve just finally been able to contact the company and been informed, I was out of 14 day cooling period and can only have half of the amount I paid for my policy. It’s now October. If you are thinking of holiday insurance DON’T go near this company as your in for a whole life of pain. I also think money supermarket should remove this bogus company from its website.

Took out holiday insurance back in Jan

Took out holiday insurance back in Jan. this year for a holiday in October. Attempted to contact Bigblue to clarify my cover, very long wait on the telephone on my 1st attempt, sent 2 e-mails - no response, tried on line chat-not working, 2nd attempt on the telephone managed to speak to someone who then told me basically i am not covered for cancellation. This company is a complete waste of money and would never use them again as judging by other reviews not many will,

Missed A Trick Here.

Like alot of comments below i also changed my holiday to next year, I was also told we can't change policy date to later than April 14th, best they offered me was a 'Goodwill gesture' of £8.93 return of my £27 i paid them, If they let us change dates instead of being greedy wanting money for nothing they would still have our custom, now none of these 1 stars would use or recommend them again, they've lost our custom and gained themselves a bad reputation.
They'll no doubt change company name and carry on scamming.

Appalling rip off from CDW

took out cdw car waiver insurance in 2019. This apparently has been automatically renewed on 22/8/2020. Not a single communication, prior notice or notification. Simply an email informing me that my card had been charged. Appalling and disgusting behaviour - AVOID
(Note offices shut on Saturday & Sunday)

worst company to deal with

took out holiday insurance in november 2019 for a holiday in june 2020. i contacted them several times in march to see where i stood if the hoilday was cancelled , they never answered my e mail . When it was confirmed that the holiday was cancelled i contacted them again, they then could not find details of my insurance , i had to send them a photo of my policy . one e mail then said i had 12 months to supply them with a new travel date , which i did , then another e mail offered me 25% back of the price of my policy , which i refused .i'm still in fighting for a full refund or for them to give me a new policy with a change in date.
do not use the company , i hate to think what would happen if i had to put a claim in
