No refund

Article arrived on time but did not meet expectations: item was too small and returned to Bikester. That is when trouble started. To cut short a long story, Bikester refused to return money to a different account than the one I paid from. The latter account was closed in the meantime. I did not get refunded as a consequence. Bad experience.

Got something that was already damaged

Got something that was already damaged and it was €230 euros and as a make up I got a gift card of €10 . And I think this is way to low for something that was €230 and already damaged

extensive range of products and proper service

The range of (quality) products, well described and properly priced, made shopping easy. After completion of the order process, the follow up -when the order- was to be received was clear. I bought more items just to find out which would be the best fit. Returning the items was easy and fast. So, the entire shopping experience was perfect!

Very poor communication

I wanted to return a bike but it already took me more than a week to reach a client service of bikester.nl
I can't create a retour label through an online form.
I don't receive any response from an online form.
It seems they want to wait until the retour period ends.

Paid too much - 'Sorry for the Inconvenience'

First I received some great help and advice from Mohamed. So I decided to buy my bicycle parts here.

Probably because of a technical issue I paid too much. My guess is that by trying some discount codes, the discount on some products was removed.

I only saw this afterwards, and so I paid €12 more than the products were at that time. After reaching out to the customer service they reacted with something like 'sorry for the inconvenience, but we think the prices are right'.

Would they have said the same if I paid €500 or €2000 too much?

This is not how you handle such an issue.

I received my bike with damaged…

I received my bike with damaged fenders, missing saddle clamp and wrong saddle. After some negotiations refunded €65 which I wasn’t happy with I but I accepted to close the case and move on. Then I ordered the fenders and new saddle.

They only delivered the sadlle. Now there is no response from the company. It’s been 9 days and not a single response.

I also found out that it’s almost impossible to remove the saddle they sent so I feel it was stuck the to post from the beginning and hence they send me a faulty one from the beginning.

The whole process has been painful and disappointing.

I have requested for the Bike and everything I ordered to return it and no response.

I highly recommend to beware that if there will be problem don’t count on them.

Would recommend

Really good website, would definitely order again (mainly because of my Komoot Premium discount). Had to return one of the items, handled perfectly. Only downside is that country and language are tied together. So me as a person living in Netherlands and not knowing Dutch, it's a bit inconvenient.
