Not a good store

Fast payment and delivery, product incomplete, no service, problem never resolved, no more responses. Worst bike webshop I have dealt with so far

Top combined with Komoot Premium

Great service and discount as premium Komoot member. Products are always good, like the variety and brands. Only thing when ordering from The Netherlands is I have to wait for 8 days for delivery, track and trace is only displaying where it has been. That is why I will order only less urgent stuff here. If shipment is faster and track and trace can provide delivery date it would be great.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. After the slow delivery I would take for granted I wrote an email about the spec on their website not meeting the delivered product. No response, apart from an automated email that it would take up to 5 working days to get a response. After 10 working days, no reply. No response after sending a reminder. In the meantime they send multiple emails asking for feedback. There is no phone number to contact them while a webshop must have a contact number. Then finally I received a request to send a picture of the whole product (why?) and a photo of all individual problems, which I already did in my first email. They just want to disencourage people to contact them or bother them with support requests. Don't ever buy anything here as the review results of this website suggest. I wish I checked them prior to buying.

poor customer support

Only possible to have contact with customer support by a web form about the delivery of my order that seems to be failing. After submitting the form I received a message that it can take up to 5 working days before someone from customer support will contact me.

Never got reply on my emails

We have ordered two times bikes via Bikester. The were never deliverer to me, because the bikes were Immediately sent back to Bikester as “retour”. (So they never were in the neighborhood of my house)

I’ve sent many emails to Bikester, but they never replied. And there is no phone number. That is in my view really bad service.
I did get the bikes refunded, but I also paid two times 20 euro shipping costs which were never refunded.

A terrible experience

Ordered an expensive bike 3.5k euros in October 2019 arrived in good time. The derailleur appeared to have been damaged due to the bike being incorrectly packaged for shipping. This was deemed unfixable by two local bikeshops without replacing the derailleur. Customer service was incredibly unresponsive as they only have a contact form on their website listed you can find a phone number to the parent company through some searching but the fact this isn't listed on the website seems like a service fail. Bike was returned but 3 months later still waiting for a refund as apparently they have returned the bike to the trek factory and am still in limbo as to when i will be refunded my money.

Bad service

An order has been placed, Customer service was not good. No phone repsonse, bad mail response time. And no solution, just money back after long waiting.
Not the game that everyone wants.

Please handle your service better.

Terrible experience!

Terrible ordering experience: During the payment process something went wrong (but suddenly it did work). No e-mail confirmation of my order. There is no telephone number or e-mail address to contact them. When trying to contact customer service via web form by about the order they reply in general terms that replying might take 5(!) days. 6 days after ordering they e-mail me that one of the ordered products is not available and if I want to cancel part or the whole order. I then reply to cancel my full order and then my reply e-mail bounces. The re-try bounces again. I then tried to cancel my order via the webform. Hope that works.

After having read Bikester's reaction below: I have an addition.

After 3+ weeks I still did not receive my refund. It is very difficult to contact them (the online webform does not work, there is no telephone number, most e-mails bounce), and when I finally got through I had to prove my payment to them first. Only then I finally got the money back.

What stung me most that there was not even an apology, only a confirmation that I was correct.

Sorry, but your approach to customers is completely wrong!

I suggest to all to order elsewhere.

Bikester refuses to deliver for agreed price

I ordered two bikes during Black Friday sale. DPD did not deliver the bikes and returned them to Bikester (I guess that can happen, even when I was home 24/7). I immediately sent Bikester an email to send the bikes again. Took a long time to reply (their customer service is really slow and difficult to reach). They reply: the shipment was returned, so we cancelled the order and we will refund the money. They give a 5% discount on my next order, which is useless because I bought the bikes with a 20% discount. So I tell them just send the bikes and I will wire the money back and they say this is impossible. Seems Bikester does not understand they are legally not allowed to cancel the sale from their side. The bikes are still in stock, so there is no reason at all not to send the bikes for the price I paid.

Not the best experience

I ordered alexrims wheels the price was good and they arrived quick. I didn’t check them decently so I missed that the rim was damaged:) I think during transport but I can’t tell. So I didn’t make a complaint my fault, unfortunately. The rims are very weak I would not buy this brand again.

The 'stock' doesnt match up

Anticipated black friday in order to buy a pair of new running shoes (Hoka Clifton's 7) on black friday (bought them for €86 usually its around €120-140) so great deal.

Get a mail-back on Tuesday (after all the black Friday, and cyber Monday promotions that the shoe isn't in stock anymore (it was when I bought it???!)

Now I'm left here with no shoes, no promotion and I have to pay the full regular price.

Regret buying on this site.

For improvement

As the shop clearly stated on their website, possible delays could be experienced due to covid19 but I think that can be prevented if they would attend to the emails as soon as possible. Every time you complete a contact form, a ticket will be raised and that could pile up in the system. However, I was told that I will receive my order in 9-13 days but my 2 bike orders arrived in less than a week. The first bike was in order but the other one I jad to return due to some defects. A bit stressful process since I tried 3 times before I got a reply. Stressfull and worried since this was the first time I purchased from this shop and if you will read all the recent negative reviews, then you would just thought you will be scammed. Well, still had a positive hope though since the shop is registered. In the end, the return process went smoothly, got a form, made an appointment to their carrier-UPS and got my money back in less than a week too. About rhe quality of the bike against the price (I had vermont) - find it a little bit on a higher price.

Very bad communication. I have asked a simple question about how fast an item could be delivered, because I needed it asap. Got nothing back. But that's ok because I don't buy from them.

Terrible communication / customer service

Terrible communication. Can't reach them via telephone / no response on my emails. Waiting for a 1,5k Euro bike which has no tracking information. My profile even says I have no outstanding orders with them. They seem to be using the corona virus situation as an excuse to not respond to customer service inquiries (impossible to speak to a rep, you have to do go via email/online inquiry submission, but they are not responding to these).
