Bioroot is a fraud and a scam. First order never delivered. They claim I asked for a subscription, and they will not cancel it. Evidently they are going to charge me forever for nothing. This is criminal. All correspondence is with AI bots.

I must be honest

I must be honest, the first time I ordered, the shipment got lost. This may have been due to the Canada Post strike. It took quite a while to get it straightened out. Since then, the last two shipments have arrived with no issues. This product may take a little while to start to work, but be patient. It is helping with the pain in my knee. I will continue using it

The product is easy to take, I haven't been on it long enough to know to see any results that's why I'm not writing five stars cuz as of now I have not seen any results but like I said I've just started, I think it takes a good month or two to really start working right

Side effect and poor business practice

Do not deal with this company. Bought Tumeric tablets but found they were causing mild heart arrhythmia. Stoped using them then found that Bioroots has automatically reorded for me and debited my bank account. I was not aware of authorising any repeat subscription. Email communication with them was AI driven and whilst promising cancellation and refund the latter did not materialise. I have checked with my bank to ensure they do not have a subscription.

I ordered Turmeric from them & immediately canceled immediately because I realized that it’s not good with the blood thinner I am on. I canceled about 4-5 times more before it was shipped. Terrible company. I just received it today and I just wrote to them about sending it back. They don’t care !

Bad experience

The company sent me the Turmeric product and I did not subscribe. I sent an email asking about refunds. the first order made me sick after one capsule. Bioroot has not sent me a return address after I requested this. They sent me a second order even though I did not subscribe. I went to the website, and it shows I did not subscribe. I found, Bioroot sent me an order I did not authorize and charged my account without authorization. I found the company does not comply with its own return and refund policies. Their customer service and morals are horrible, and I found them to be completely unethical in their business practices.

After your reply here, I contacted Bioroot again to no avail and again received a worthless auto-reply message. I confirmed on the website that I was not a subscriber.

Is bio labs tumeric a scam or a badly run business? As this company deceitfully automates a…

Be careful not to inadvertently order a subscription as the box is pre ticked for it in my experience. Also there is no email confirmation of the order made, now on three occasions, or any indication that the goods are being delivered. The order arrives without an invoice or any paperwork and delivery can take a long time. Looking for any verification of the products contents by scanning the barcode brings up a link to a weapons company?
I have found the product helpful for arthritis and the company have assured me that the formula is verified. They have cancelled all subscriptions on request. Message to self check out reviews before buying from Facebook advertisements !

One star is too much

One star is too much. When you purchase their product (tumeric supplements), you are tied to a subscription, that you don't know about. It's only when you look further you see the subscription, trying to cancel is almost impossible, they send you an email with a link to cancel but it is always out of time. They do answer emails promising someone will contact you, they don't. Even getting the bank to stop payment is difficult, because the company changes their id, so the bank thinks it's ok. Avoid at all costs.

The order was processed and mailed quickly. I appreciated getting the "buy 2, get 1" sale on my order.
Previous negative reviews re signing customers up for unwanted subscriptions is my only concern.

I wanted to try the turmeric for pain…

I wanted to try the turmeric for pain in my hips. Was told that turmeric would be really helpful. The product is fine the company is rather shady. I only wanted to try it so I ordered 1 bottle. Unfortunately I didnt realize I was buying into a subscription. I didnt want a subscription. I have been going back and forth with their customer service person, who tells me my refund for the auto shipment that I didnt authorize would process in 3 to 5 business days. Thats been over a month and counting. Beware!!!!!

One star is too much but won't review no stars. I ordered one and was then send more without my consent costing £40.
I emailed this company to cancel and was informed I had to sign in which I duly did to find the site unnavigable and no option for cancellation available. Thankfully my bank will no longer accept requests from them.

Misleading subscription and no refund after cancellation


I ordered this product thinking it was a one-time purchase, but it turned out to be a subscription that was not clearly disclosed during checkout.

I cancelled the order before shipment. The company initially confirmed that the order had not left the warehouse, and the tracking only showed “shipment information received.”

Despite this, they still processed the shipment. I did not collect the package, and it was returned to the sender.

Even after this, I have not received any refund, and my support ticket was closed without resolving the issue.

This experience has been very frustrating. The subscription setup is misleading, and the refund process is extremely poor.

I strongly advise others to read everything very carefully before ordering and avoid this kind of hidden subscription.

Sharing my experience so others do not face the same situation.

Update:
The company responded claiming the order was delivered and asking for return proof. However, I did not collect the parcel from the pickup point, so it should have been automatically returned to sender.

I had already cancelled the order before shipment, and their team confirmed it had not left the warehouse at that time.

I have requested refund and return instructions multiple times, but still no clear resolution has been provided.

I am now proceeding with a bank chargeback and a formal consumer complaint.

We understand your concerns regarding the subscription and want to clarify that the option is presented during checkout, directly above the “Add to Cart” button, with the message:
“Save 20% with automatic refills – Shipped every month. No commitment. Cancel anytime.”
This is intended to clearly indicate when a subscription is selected. It simply provides a discounted monthly delivery of the same product, with no additional or hidden charges, and can be managed or cancelled at any time through the “Manage Subscription” tab at the top of our website. Once cancelled, no future orders are processed. We can also confirm that your subscription has already been cancelled.

That said, we’re especially concerned about your experience with the shipment and refund. Upon reviewing the tracking information for orders #204001 and #119439, both are currently marked as delivered. If the parcels were returned to us, could you please share any proof of return or a return tracking number? This will help us investigate this further with the courier and ensure the matter is resolved accurately and fairly.

We also sincerely apologize for your support ticket being closed without a proper resolution, that is not the level of service we aim to provide.

Your feedback highlights areas where we clearly need to improve, particularly around communication and follow-through, and we take that seriously.
