One of the very best

I’ve been using Bitaroo for a little over a year. I highly recommend it. Low fees, simple user interface and genuinely bitcoin only.
If you’re an Australian planning to buy bitcoin, this exchange is one of the very best.

I have tried a lot of exchanges

I have tried a lot of exchanges over the years, but bitaroo are my favourite. The deposits and withdrawals are fast, and lightning is also an option. Very impressed. I now also use for my smsf and the support to setup was great.

Australia's best place to buy bitcoin

Australia's best place to buy bitcoin, without a doubt. These guys are true bitcoiners and know their stuff. They operate in efficient and clever ways that allow them to be the cheapest for their customers, and offer solid customer support.

Not sure Bitaroo are providing the…

Not sure Bitaroo are providing the service they promise.

Provided all requested personal information in good faith.

After a number of days and having to chase them they gave a bland response that they could not open my account.

Bitaroo now have sensitive personal information of mine and they are not providing the service they advertise and I requested.

My fear is they are promising a service whilst in reality phishing for copies of personal information for who knows what.....

Bitaroo is the Crypto wild west be very very careful about providing details to this organisation they don't provide the service the claim to and they request highly personal information.

Bitaroo's answer does not cut it..... when provided with drivers license and passport details.....just doe not make sense....something very fishy here

Withdrawals blocked!!…

I initially made a small purchase (under au$500) of Bitcoin via Bitaroo to test the system, fee structure & efficiency - all good. I then made a 2nd purchase (under au$800) - all good. Both of these small BTC amounts were transferred to another wallet (not held in Bitaroo).
When I then purchased au$1000 in BTC I was arbitrarily blocked from withdrawal/transferring to my preferred wallet for 3 months
because of so called "abnormal activity" on my account. Bitaroo refused to elaborate on the abnormal activity (3 transactions ??) So my BTC is "locked up" now for 3 months!!
You've lost me Bitaroo!! & I'll be retelling my experience wherever I can...

Due to privacy reasons we cannot discuss account specific matters in public but generally speaking when temporary suspension of withdrawals is imposed on a specific account, we understand the inconvenience this may cause, and we empathise with users’ desire for more details. Unfortunately, due to regulatory constraints, we are unable to disclose specific details about the abnormal activity that has been detected.

The three-month suspension is a precautionary measure aimed at protecting both our users and the integrity of our platform. We take these steps seriously to maintain a secure environment for all.

Once the suspension period concludes, affected users can apply to have full functionality reinstated, including BTC withdrawals. We genuinely hope that, despite this setback, you will reconsider your decision and give Bitaroo another chance in the future.

Highly recommend, excellent customer service

As a novice to Bitcoin, I found Bitaroo really easy.
The website and the app are great,
And the customer service is excellent.
I recently had a panic, and they were quick to reply and assist me to resolve it, they put me right at ease.
I’m learning a lot about coin, and really appreciate feeling supported, and having an Australian company to trust in.
