Placed an order on 16th Aug with delivery promised in 1–3 days. It’s now 31st Aug and I still haven’t received my order. Tracking still shows ‘Advised’, meaning the parcel hasn’t even been collected. I’ve sent multiple emails, WhatsApp messages, and made several phone calls — all ignored, with only one vague response. I’ve also requested a refund and had no reply. Appalling service — avoid this company at all costs.

Product was just what I needed and is good quality

This was my first purchase with Black-bear fitness, and it couldn’t have gone any worse. First purchase lost in transit followed by a refund due to no stock. Waited weeks for stock to arrive and ordered the item again, this time no sign of the item, followed up and was told no stock.
On a positive note, Black bear have compensated me well for the issues, and I await for the item to arrive. Even though this wasn’t a great first experience, black bear have done their upmost to put things right. Soon as my item arrives I will update my review.

The service was excellent and order placed without any issues. The only thing is I am still waiting for it to be delivered and it’s the 4th day now and it says 1-3 working days.

Bought a hip thrust bench. Excellent price for what is essentially a commodity product. Good quality and excellent delivery experience.

Ironically I’m giving a five star review despite not getting the items I ordered!
Sadly, the weight plates I ordered were lost in transit, and are now out of stock, but the team at Black Bear contacted me immediately, were very apologetic and arranged for a refund. Fantastic customer service and I won’t hesitate to order from them in future.

I have purchased 3 large items from black bear in the last week. I don’t think they could have done any more to accommodate me to be honest. Really helpful, fast delivery, good products at a great price. I don’t see why I would shop anywhere else 👍

Service was great at the beginning up until there is an issue.

Rude, unsupportive, lacked any customer service, empathy and/or any proactive resolution support, to the extent I have been made out to be a liar.

Not appreciating my honest recount, the law of physics and/or the possibility of a product defect, images were shared with the company to validate the situation. These imagines clearly show there has not been and there is not any other damage to and/or to any surrounding parts of the rower which would support/validate their accusation that the damage has been caused by a form impact or misuse.

After numerous approaches including accurate and articulate recounts of how the bracket broke (78kg person sitting on the rower for the first time and not even using it) which included the aforementioned imagines, no responses were received received.
Upon chasing, I did then however receive an acknowledgement email which in fact promised a replacement part would be sent to me which I could then replace myself. To date this part has not been received, nor have my attempts to contact the company been responded to or acknowledge. Given the lack of communication and/or part, I requested a refund or for the rower to be replaced and given the fact the item is faulty I do not believe that I should be liable to incur the cost of the delivery, so asked for them to make arrangements keeping me informed so it could be returned, refunded or replaced. As expected this request has again been ignored, which has left me no other option but to approach my bank, as I have a broken rower which I am unable to use and all its packaging.

Unbelievably and a hugely concerning aspect is that this is deemed to be an acceptable approach to consumer by a company, who is now out of pocket, unable to replace the rower, has a broken rower and its packaging, all because “ To have broken in less than a few days, with such a smooth clean snap that we've never seen across dozens after dozens of rowers, we're allowed to ask this question to investigate how somethings happened.” Whilst this may be a valid statement by the company there are a few key aspects:
1) Whilst their statement that dozens and dozens have not had this problem could be valid, which I also have never seen, it does not mean it could not ever happen,
2) The reference to having such a smooth clean snap, I find interesting as if this was not due to a product defect, given how impossible it would be to break the part according to the company, along with their assumption that it would have to have been caused by a form of impact or misuse, there would have to be evidence of such force or mis-use which there isn’t, as there wasn’t any.
3) As per my recount, this break occurred during the first attempt to use it when I first sat on it, and not after a few days as referred to by the company.

Even with no evidence to support their accusations they appear to now be disputing with my bank my honesty and integrity. I am truly appalled and would strongly recommend anyone away from this organisation just in case you have this unfortunate situation and have to go through this truly saddening and stressful experience

Myself and husband ordered 2x separate machines, same day, same time.
One was dispatched the next working day.
The other delayed by a week. Arrived and sat in storage for a month while we renovated our current gym.
Came to fit the machine to find that 3 key pieces were missing. One being a cable pulley...for a cable machine.
Contacted via email multiple times. No response. Contacted via whatsapp, no response.
Wasnt until we found a different contact number from a facebook page that we spoke to someone. They assured us the emails.had never reached them, but if we sent on to a dofferent address they would tend to it personally.....sent twice since then. That was 2 weeks ago and still, nothing .
Considering weve spent best part of 1k between us, its really poor service. No acknowledgement, nothing.
Definitely wont be a returning customer thata for sure. I wouldnt waste your money.
