Fast onboarding without any complex forms, very easy and straightforward. Nice user friendly app experience. If you choose Express Card delivery it comes to your door in my case next day which was amazing!

I hope the rest of the service including crypto offering will follow suits. Will definitely recommend to my friend.

REFUND MY MONEY!

Hello. My account was blocked for several months. I waited for several months for an answer while they resolved the issue. After numerous messages, they finally asked me to give them the details so that they could withdraw my money, since the account was being closed. I sent them all the details and have been waiting for the withdrawal of money for more than a month. Every day they promise to solve the problem, but it lasts, and lasts, and lasts. Please finally withdraw my money to the account I indicated!

UPD: They replied that an AML check was being carried out and so on. This check has been going on for several months. The most interesting thing is that they wrote a letter, said that the account was being closed and asked for my details, then wrote to me to send a confirmation that these were my details. I threw off the opyat. But the money is still not withdrawn. I'm a mother, there is a war in my country, I can't leave the country because this bank hasn't withdrawn my funds yet! For several months now, there have been only promises to speed up and so on!! HELP SOLVE!

UPD: Today is already January 15th. They will answer with templates! The answer is: WE cannot give you a time frame! They're just making fun of people!

Their fee for account inactivity is 15€/mounth

Their fee for account inactivity is 15 euros/month, even if there is no money there. If you once created an account and returned to it to use it now, you owe them 200-300 euros. I found out when I topped up my account. This is a form of fraud. Normal companies do not have such tariffs. Stay away from this.

UPD 25.12 - How do you want to help me with my case?) Yesterday you demanded 250 € by email because I have never used your bank. I'll post the correspondence here.

What's wrong with my review? You are the only neobank that charges such a commission for inactivity (without displaying it anywhere as a debt or any transactions in account, UNTIL CLIENT TOP UP ACCOUNT).
You explain to me that you legally beat me and received my 110€ without any services! I congratulate you!
And in my review I warn other people from working with you, because this is the worst offer on the market in my opinion. This is a market, you know?
Well, no need to lie, yesterday I received a letter where you ask me to top up my account with 250 € to pay the commission. Don't dig yourself deeper with your answers.

Dormancy fee occurs if a client has a Blackcatcard account, but it’s been inactive for over 6 months. We do our best to provide the best pricing to our clients, and you know the maintenance of your account is free for a client. However, when an account is inactive, its maintenance costs us money, which is unsustainable for us in the long run. If you don’t use your account — there is always an option to close it. In this situation, we don’t force you to pay a dormancy fee.

Blackcat do not give money back for more than 2 months

I have been a black cat card customer for over 5 years. I used all their services, and I was very glad and happy. I ordered a physical card for myself and made a lot of purchases.

On October 17, 2023, my account was blocked with my money in the amount of 5713 euros. They blocked me without warning and without notification, my card was tied in a taxi, so I was very surprised when I couldn't pay for a taxi on the way to the airport. Next, I wrote them a lot by email and chat, received some excuses and expectation. Next, they asked me to provide an alternative iban in my name to send my funds there. I provided them with all this. The black cat card company has set a deadline of 30 days, during which time they must send me money. The deadline of 30 days is out. Accordingly, I did not receive anything. Nothing has happened in more than 2 months!

Now I'm collecting all the documents and I'm going to file a pre-trial claim against this company. I'm also going to file pre-trial claims with the banking regulators.

I think what the blackcatcard company is doing is pure fraud

I think I owe Papaya Ltd's "Blackcatcard" a big apology. The whole problem has been resolved and to my satisfaction. I mistakenly stated in my registration that I was a politically exposed person, which defacto triggered a more extensive and thorough investigation of the application in relation to EU legislation. It should also be mentioned that if it were not for this portal, the clarification of the whole matter would not have taken place. So thanks again ! You guys are great! And have a wonderful Christmas :)

I'm not a politically exposed person and neither has my family ever been. I have re-run your registration and KYC verification this morning. Again with the same result ! You want a complete financial history for 12 months and I am not a politically exposed person and it was not marked in the application ... frankly it makes me feel weird, apparently this is your practice, I don't know what to think about it…

I registered my Blackcatcard wallet today and after several attempts, the KYC verification was successful. What was my surprise when I received an email saying Your registration with Blackcatcard was not completed. We need a document confirming the source of your funds to complete this process:
Please send us a bank statement showing your cumulative income for the last 12 months.
This is a totally unacceptable invasion of my privacy and for a wallet that doesn't even have a full banking license and has a very mediocre 3.5 star rating here, I find it almost rude. I am very disgusted and definitely do not recommend this "service", do not waste your time here …

If the client notes that he or she is a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), and/or is a relative of PEP, then a letter is sent to the client's email with a request to provide the relevant documents to pass the verification of belonging to PEP.
This procedure is established by law and cannot be ignored.
If a client is not a PEP, then it should be noted so this during registration. Then, the step of checking whether a client is a PEP will be skipped and there will be no need to go through it unless it will be countered during the application processing.

Bank always with troubles

Bank always with troubles. They block my card because they have trouble with app and make wrong transactions to my card . After that they block ma card with my money!!! 2 month money on card and they don’t give it back!!!

BLACKCATCARD BLCOKED MY MONEY WITHOUT ANY REASONS

Hello, my name it's Moraru Ecaterina, and recently became and blackcarcard member excepting they are serious, I have sent some money from my personal account and they have freezed my money, telling me it's under processing. Processing what if it's made from personal account to personal account! From an Austrian Bank bank I have sent to BlackCatCard.
The support could not help me with any questions just telling me wait will be processing!

AML checks usually takes from 1 to 14 days. But, the AML checks take longer time in some cases.

Be aware with blackcatcard.

When I created the blackcatcard account I selected my first and last name for the card name. For some weird reason blackcatcard decided to put on card my middle names, for that reason I'm having security checks problems with the card. Customer support won't help, in my last interaction with them, they said that I provided false information, what a joke.

Also in transaction history my payments with the card do no appear, customer support won't help ether, they say an excuse, that the payments weren't verified by the merchants, this is not true, weeks has passed and no transactions on my history, I have several others online accounts and I know for sure that transactions settle in a few days.

I don't recommend this card because of my issues and customer support does not provide a solution for them, they give me only excuses.

BlackCatCard still claims and I quote:

"Dear customer, unfortunately, we can't give an exact timeline as confirmation depends on from payment system. As soon as we receive confirmation, you will see the needed transaction in the transaction history and you will be able to verify incoming and outgoing transactions and check the correctness of the displayed balance.
Are there any other questions I can help you with?"

All custumer support assistants says the same, to me they starting to look like parrots or a chatGPT bot.

I'm still unable to see transactions history.

BlackCatCard fooled me. Do not let them fool you.

According to the technical specifications of the cards the number of characters for cardholder's first and last name are limited to 20 characters with spaces. If this limit is exceeded, the system automatically shortens it.
After this, you have the right to either agree with the option suggested by the system, or indicate your own spelling of the name. You chose the second option and indicated your spelling of the cardholder's name.
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with a card with that name, you can issue a new card, indicating any other name (note the limit: 20 characters with spaces).
The cost of issuing an additional card is 7 EUR, and for a new name you will need to pay additional 5 EUR.
When issuing an additional card, please keep in mind that account maintenance is no longer free, and is only 2 EUR per month (regardless of the number of additional cards).
You can contact Blackcatcard support and submit an application to close your current card. In this case, after ordering additional cards, the number of your cards will not exceed 1, and the service will remain free.

Regarding the display of operations:

Unfortunately the confirmation speed is beyond our control.
Some transactions made with your payment card may not appear in the transaction history until we receive confirmation from the payment system. 03.07.2023 I received money into my account, the company froze the money and demanded all explanations, I explained everything, they are ok, wait a little more and we will answer, I have been waiting for almost 5 months, my problem is not solved
after repeated complaints, they responded with a request for additional information, I sent everything that was required and have been waiting for 12 days, again no response
