First I ordered twice as much as I needed as the website doesn’t say that the price is for a pair of blinds so I assumed it was for single. Second I ruined one blind as the thread you hang the clips on pulled out. I subsequently worked out that you need to tie the ends of the threads, it didnt say this on the instructions. Third when I went to return the addition blinds and found out that there’s a £15 handling fee for returns which is very excessive in my option, how long does it take to put the blind back on the shelf and increment the stock on the computer, if that costs £15 I’m in the wrong business.

They wasnt suitable so i requested a return, as i read the returns instructions it said they would deduct 15 pounds plus you have to pay returns costs, ive sent them an email just in case ive got it wrong.......hope so

Everything about these curtains is a lie. Just a flat sheet of ugly material that's been badly and wonkily edged so you can't pull the strings to create pencil pleats; shorter than described on website so to create pencil pleats you'd need about 4 times as much as the measurements given; the scrappiest material I've ever seen; terrible stitching with threads sticking out every couple of centimeters; holes all the way through so impossible to use as blackout curtains; and generally falling apart.

The company responded very promptly to my email and arranged a fix for the problem right away. Grateful that they were so accepting of the issue!

Had a slight issue with my order, but the team resolved it quickly. I always think how customer service handles issues is one of the most important factors in a successful business, and they did a great job here.
The blackout as well is better than we had on our ‘blackout curtains’ bought from a high street shop, so definitely recommend this company.

I’m always slightly wary when using a new (to me) online retailer, but in the case of Blackouts Direct, I’m SO glad to have given them a try.

Not only were the blackout linings excellent quality and very competitively priced, they also included the hooks and rings needed; which not all competitors do.

They were despatched within one day, and arrived very quickly. Sadly missing the rings & hooks - not their fault but the manufacturer’s. When I called, they could not have been more helpful and efficient.
The replacements were despatched the same day, and arrived very quickly.

I’m a firm believer that you can judge a company by how they deal with issues that arise, and customer service here was faultless.

Highly recommended. I’ll definitely buy again!
