Well when I visited garage I was advised to get a new strut fitted along with other parts the parts were fitted but not the strut as I had my car underneath waxed for rust protection and was notified that the strut was not fitted and also wheel nuts missing as the brakes were supposed to have been cleaned who nows I don't not the best experience in my life not very confident for the future

No fuss or hassle fixed and back on the road quickly

Sorted out electrical problems no problem, but failed to rectify air conditioning problem

Although sceptical of these kind of used car warranties, I have been pleasantly surprised by the service provided by Blackstar. They have quickly and fairly dealt with the issues I have had with a recent used car purchase.

They provided great customer service. Their support was prompt. Hopefully I won’t need to make another claim anytime soon!

I was a little skeptical after reading reviews, but I'm happy to report that my experience was excellent with this company. Even with a few small issues, the warranty ultimately offered sufficient coverage. Their customer support was accommodating and keeping your updates promptly. The service was above my expectations in general. I'm happy with my experience and would suggest this business.

Claim approved and paid once they received the invoice from the garage. Happy with the service.

I can’t complain as my claim was approved! All I paid for was the diagnostic .

I was updated via email and paid the garage directly.

They say that you should get a response to a claim in 48 hours. First contact I called to chase up after 3 days and then had to call again as I didn't get the call back I was promised.

I am expected to pay for inspection/diagnostic of a problem which was done. They however decided it wasn't enough and wanted me to pay for half the job e.g. stripping the car apart to get to the part that needed changing to show the damaged part. This was unnecessary as it had already failed a test to show the part was faulty.

With no other choice I did as asked and had the car in pieces at the garage and sent the pictures requested. They say you can't get a repair carried out untill they have okayed it so my car stayed in pieces waiting for the 48hour response time.

I chased them on day 3 and said I would get a call back. On day 5 the garage had to continue with the repair regardless. 2 weeks on and I talked to a lady that sounded like she was about to nod off, said they she would look into it. I said that wasn't good enough but she said that there is no one else I can talk to. I asked how to go about a complaint and was told to send it to the same email. Considering there lack of response to everything else I'm not going to hold my breath.

So they were very unresponsive and in the end have paid out nothing. This is more like insurance than a real warrenty and they will get out of paying if they can.

The Warranty this company offers is not worth the paper it is wrtten on. I would have gave this company zero stars, unfortunately you have to give one star in order to write a review. If you as a customer have brought a vehicle and the Warranty is covered by this company, I would advise you to get the vehcile checked by an independant garage before purchasing. It appears this Warranty Company does not cover anything on a vehicle that is a moving part. We purchased a vehicle that after two months had a faulty p2200 Sensor Circuit Bank Fault, only to be told by the Warranty Company that they do not cover this. I must also stress the customer service you recieve when calling this campany leaves a lot to be desired. To sum up I would give them a wide birth.

Very poor ! My car was off the road for 3 weeks at the garage they use , now a lot of the bad experience could be more with the garage they sent the car to as after 3 weeks the car had the same problem and when I took it for an impartial opinion on what the problem was I was told that it looked as though the garage had put a bottle of cataclene in the car to bodge it . They will claim they are a warranty company and they paid for my car to be fixed , but the problem is they chose the garage to send it to and they were cowboys. So unfortunately they are tard with the same brush. Also when I was ringing up to find out what was happening no one knew ?

Terrible I have a broken clutch but until it literally is a scrap metal heap they won’t honour the fixing of my car.
