I found Bluegate Mortgages through a shared ownership Facebook group and was introduced to Oliver Wheatley.

Oliver was fantastic to work with — always quick to respond, happy to answer my questions, and very helpful in finding the right mortgage options for me.

I was originally recommended to Kim through the Shared Ownership Help Group on Facebook. Kim has gone above and beyond to help me secure my mortgage offer. She is very kind & friendly but most importantly brilliant at her job. I never even thought it would be possible for me to get a mortgage as I have a chronic condition and am unable to work, but this wasn't a problem at all. I cannot thank Kim enough as this mortgage will allow me to move forwards with my life and gain back more independence. I cannot recommend her enough!

Approached via Facebook and had a reply straight away from Kim Powell who directed me to Oliver from the initial phone conversation Oliver was very friendly and helpful. No question was ever too much for him to answer. Oliver is highly effective and sorted out everything in super speed! Oliver was helpful with additional covers we wanted (home insurance protections etc) always taking his time to explain everything to us, for us to make the best decision for us. Oliver’s support throughout the whole progress was unwavering. We are forever grateful and will be going back when our term is nearly complete! Many thanks.

This is the second time Kim has done our remortgage and both times she has gone above and beyond to help us and make sure everything goes smoothly she’s very helpful and extremely knowledgeable and professional wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend Kim every time ! Basically the only mortgage broker anyone needs .

The least stressful part of the whole moving house experience was getting our mortgage from Ollie. He made the process really easy, from us sending all our info to him explaining each option and getting us the right mortgage.

** Not all hero's wear capes ** Kim Powell you are heaven sent. My real life shero. Today after a long 8wk battle, I finally got my mortgage offer. Kim has been by my side since November 23 in this long drawn out battle. The plot that I applied for was originally advertised at a 35% share. Kim calculated my figures for me, invested her time, be it evening/weekends/early mornings, even whilst on holiday, to advise and support me. I couldn't meet affordability. The HA wouldn't budge. The same house was readvertised at a 25% share in January 24. I was number 21 and offered to apply in April. I couldn't understand why everyone else before me had failed affordability. Now I know why. Stressful is an understatement. Fast forward to today. Mortgage offer finally received. It's been a long drawn out battle. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, patient and understanding mortgage advisor, prepared to fight for you, then I cannot recommend this lady enough. If it wasn't for Kim, I wouldn't be able to provide a secure home for my children. Single parent of 2, who had no prior knowledge or experience of shared ownership or of obtaining a mortgage. Thank you Kim, for everything.
