I went to the Nunawading store this morning and went to the office the person l was greeted by a mouthpiece that just yelled where’s your mask, l was there to have a set of tyres put on a four wheel drive, l,turned around and left and went to Bridgestone where l was helped by the sales person and bought the tyres, who ever you were you just cost the company a big sale.17/2/22

very poor service.
paid for tyres and wheel alignment
when i went to pick up the car they said they could not do a alignment because they could not undo the nuts lol.
i took the car home and loosened the nuts for them.
i went back and asked for a refund on services not provided , they refused. tyres are wearing badly now.
ill never step foot in a Bob Janes again.
poor work guys and poor customer services..

I had to get 4 new tyres and alignment. All appeared ok till I received my key back which was broken. I questioned the fella that fixed my tyres who claimed it fell apart and he put back together best he could. He said he takes no responsibility and it's my matter to fix. This cost me an additional $110 for new key on top of the $419 for cost of tyres....not good practice

I took my car to the Perth branch for its three month check. I had been told by phone that it would take 30 minutes. On the day I was told it was going to take 90 minutes. When I said I had been told 30 and could not stay for the longer time, I was told in very rude and aggressive terms that I was wrong and no one had ever told me the shorter time. I understand that misunderstandings can arise, but I don’t expect to be spoken to in such a rude and dismissive way.

I had my rear tyres changed on my car at Bob Jane T-Mart Granville
I asked my son to take my car there and have these tyres fitted and get a wheel alignment on Monday the 25th of October at around 1pm.
I had asked him to get wider tyres fitted being 205 wide instead of the 185 wide tyres that where on there to allow for better grip on the road.
He received a call at around 2.30pm asking him to come back to the shop and remove the caps off the wheels that where on the car so they remove the back wheels to change the tyres the car has MAG wheels on it which require a spacer fitted to allow them to fit on the axle.
By the time he returned to the shop the tyres had been changed and the car was ready to go.
He made the payment for the tyres and drove back home A distance of approx. 880 mtrs by the time he had gotten home he said to me the car felt different
I went out for a look and could see the Drivers side rear tyre had been rubbing against the wheel guard` I asked him to ring Bob Jane and tell them what happened. They said bring it back for us to have a look at.
We removed the tyre and took it back to them they then said they needed the car to check it. We went back home and took the car back after removing the spacer and putting on a small wheel.
On our return they said he should have taken the car back to them not home it is 1.8 KLM round trip back to them I don't not believe he would have made it back give the damage already on the tyre.
A Few people there offered different suggestions on what it could have been I asked them the question where is their obligation in advising the customer if it’s the wrong size tyre or if there was clearance issues and they said that it’s not their job to check clearances then they said the wheel guards had been rolled on the car and that was causing the issue.
I told them that the cars come out of the factory like that and they said no the guards had been rolled. We've done work on lots of these BMW's I have another similar car at home and the guards are exactly the same these have not been changed and numerous other cars are the same.
I asked if they check the car they said it was driven in the parking area and didn't notice anything wrong but again they don't check clearance or if anything is touching
They put the tyre back on the car and then point out that there was a clearance issue but this was not something they checked after putting the tyres on.
They said it wasn’t their fault that the tyre didn’t fit and was rubbing and there was nothing they could do I asked if the tyre would be deemed defective if I was pulled over by the police and was told it would be ok but maybe leaning towards defective in the end. I have shown this tyre to someone who was in NSW Highway Patrol and he said it would be a defect straight up.
I asked if someone came in and asked for a 300 mm tyre would you put it on if the car only takes 185mm I was told they would advise the customer it wouldn’t fit and offer advice but again they don’t check clearances.
They didn’t say to my son that the tyres would not fit and I should look at a different size I would have considered their advice but there was none given
They were not prepared to offer a solution at that point apart from me buying new tyres although my intention was in good faith to purchase new tyres to keep my car safe on the road in the first place.
When I stated I would be going to Fair Trading the responses was my names XXXXXX I’m the manager here last 15 years and you won’t get far with Fair Trading
I am stuck now with a defective car because the tyres they supplied don’t fit the car but they want to blame everyone else except themselves for the error. The Mechanic, The Suspension, Physics but not the tyre fitters who I believe should be checking the tyre fits in and had enough clearance before releasing the car and making sure the car is safe to leave.
I would like to have matching tyres that fit the car with the current wheel specs as I should have been advised when the car was taken in not being a Tyre Expert this advice should have been relayed to me and the tyres should not have been changed if they were not right or I should have been advised after fitment they would not be right
Where is Bob Janes Obligation and Duty of Care to its customers to ensure they are providing the right product and ensuring a safe vehicle in all instances?

I requested in writing and twice verbally fitting of two tyres agreeing on price of $579. When I left they refused to give my the invoice, swiped my card and said they'd email the receipt. The next day I saw I had been overcharged by $500 (total $1079) and they claimed there were nails in the 3rd and 4th tyres. I have reported them to Consumer Affairs seeking refund based on suspecting deceptive and misleading conduct. I don't want to hear from the Dandenong store ever again, they have my bank details and have not refunded the overcharge to date. What does head office have to say about their brands seemingly deceptive conduct? I'll never deal with Bob Jane Tmarts again. Bob Jane has not provided the refund offer and no response to the brand complaint from Bob Jane office about the separate company that uses the Bob Jane brand and non disclosure.

Took my car to Bob Jane Oakleigh for two new tyres. Thankfully i took photos of all the rims before fitting as they damaged one of them badly during fitting. Manager agreed they did it and told me to go to a specific wheel repair place and pay for the repair and id be reimbursed. Got the rim repaired costing $390. Took the invoice to the manager and it took 3 months for them to pay me only after i went to consumer affairs about it. Not happy.

went to Marion SA store, was booked for tyre rotation at 10.00 am,which shouldn't take long, was given impression when i booked could wait around as job could be done straight away
WRONG when I booked in they said 60- 90 minute turn around, told them to hold my place and i would be back in 20 mins
Came back 25 mins later and had been relegated with another 90 min wait. Counter employee was rude and bombastic and claimed it said on job sheet that waiting times vary by that much time, yet i never got job sheet, or was warned upon booking that these rules were in place

Went into Bob Jane Alberton store in Adelaide (1st April 2021) for a simple tyre rotation and they returned my vehicle (BMW twin turbo convertible) with over $7,000 damage as quoted by a crash repairer. Prior to being told of the damage, the manager (M) knowing the vehicle had been damaged, waited for me to pay a measly $25 for the simple tyre rotation and when the transaction was completed, he stepped in to inform me of the incident. Obviously no guilt in taking a measly $25 from a long term customer after destroying his vehicle. I have told this to more than 50 people and every single person was appalled at the managers action. Says a lot about the person.
The excuse given to me at the time was that the young driver's vision was impaired looking through the rear window. The vehicle travelled no more than 3 meters prior to the collision with the other parked vehicle. Based upon the level of damage, speed was the major factor. This was also the opinion of two crash repairers as well as my insurance company. Make your own judgement - view the photos attached! The car is also fitted with a fully functioning sophisticated reversing/parking sensors with graphical display on large screen with audible alarms. There are also side mirrors on the vehicle and if the driver cared to use them would have clearly seen the vehicle he collided with. There was no excuse for this damage to have occurred. It was down to pure negligence and abuse of customer property. They should not have allowed a young driver in a performance vehicle.
Bob Jane's view of this incident is that their only obligation is to repair the vehicle through their insurance. They (store manager and customer service manager) are not willing to entertain any form of compensation for my inconvenience - dealing with insurance companies and crash repairers, the distress this has put on my family (had to cancel a short holiday over the Easter break), devaluation of the vehicle and the loss of unused insurance and registration as car will be off the road for at least 2 months.
I have requested that Bob Jane supply me a set of tyres out of good will to cover my inconveniences and losses over and above the repair of my vehicle. Their response (knowing that I cannot claim for anything outside the repair of the vehicle) is that they are not interested in any form of good will as this is now in the hands of the insurance company. For a company that sells millions of tyres per year, I didn't think this was too much to ask...but then again...they did take my $25 before telling me they demolished my car.
I have tried reasoning with them and given them many opportunities to show good will to no avail. Have yet to receive an apology from Bob Jane Customer service manager (J) even after pointing this out to him. An apology is the very least you would expect from someone in customer service. I guess that is the difference between customer service and customer care.
For the sake of ignorance and arrogance on Bob Jane's behalf, this could potentially cost them more than a set of tyres as this matter will now escalate.
Wheel alignment done at tamworth store apparently they do not check for wear or play in suspension like most other good alignment centers do
Could have ended badly
Waist of time and money
Not their problem when asked why
How many other car owners think they have been checked properly
The bobjane reply to this post is very much like their service VERY POOR

Poor customer service at your store in Southport. I arrived at your store on 11/02/2021 and requested if I could get assistance with my tyre as I wasn't sure what was wrong with it but the air had gone down twice in 5 days. The person that greeted me would not assist as i did not have an appointment. I was told i needed an appointment and that since i didnt have one i had to come back. My tyre was flat and i was offered no assistance at all and made to feel stupid for not knowing what was wrong..I explained that i did not know and requested someone come and look but hey no appointment no assistance. I ended up going to the Tyre shop in Southport who were more then happy to assist me straight away.

Edit: response to bob jane... the proposal is unacceptable as you know because it does not guarantee a proper repair.. and I have to absolve bob jane of responsibility for the repair... you wouldn’t accept that if that was your car!! So let’s not pretend you’ve tried to resolve this properly!! Since then no one has bothered to get in contact!! It’s ok, I’ll fix the wheels myself, it’s not a cost issue for me... it’s about doing the right thing! Something you guys clearly know nothing about!! At least once I fix them, I’ll know they’re fixed the right way. This now is just about protecting other customers from suffering the same treatment as I had to!
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! CONTRADICTORY RESPONSES, ONLY INTERESTED IN AVOIDING AND DEFLECTING BLAME TO GET OUT OF IT AS CHEAPLY AS THEY CAN. NOT INTERESTED IN DOING THE RIGHT THING AT ALL AND OWN THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME EMAILING OR CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER... NO CALL BACKS DESPITE PROMISES, YOU'LL JUST CHASE THEM FOR EVER.
Came in to get 4 tyres fitted with 4 pristine rims... left with 3 rims damaged by the tyre levers. Followed by what I suspect is a falsified job card telling me my wheels were damaged before I came in.. funnily enough I was told the job card had a note that all wheels were marked... but in fact only 3 now have damage on them... so either they put down marked wheels on all job cards just in case to cover themselves regardless ( I was not told that they found damage on the rims)... or they falsified job cards.... this was the first tyre change on a car with 25000km on it... now I am left to argue replacement of damaged rims on a $100k plus pristine car...
edit: AFTER THE HELPFUL RESPONSE FROM BOB JANE TO CONTACT THEM TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE THEY FLAT OUT DENIED CAUSING THE DAMAGE AND AS A GESTURE OF GOOD WILL OFFER $100 TO PAY FOR HALF OF THE ONE WHEEL REPAIR.... $100 OUT OF THE $1300 BILL THAT I AM NOT UP FOR TO REPAIR WHEELS THAT WERE NOT DAMAGED..... ITS INSULTING AND SHOWED NO INTENTION OF TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE... SO MUCH FOR A LARGE TYRE CHAIN STANDING BY THEIR REPUTATION. THE MATTER WILL BE ESCALATED

Having experienced sub standard and unacceptable service from the Eltham branch of Bob Jane TMart I took the time to provide feedback both at the local and national level Complete and utter waste of time Had no response except a standard statement to contact their national office Obvious from other negative reviews that this is the company's policy on dealing with unwanted feedback Care factor nil

I went to Bob Jane in Gladesville for a tyre made specifically for Mercedes. I found them extremely efficient, knowledgeable and provided a fabulous service. Most importantly, I saved $700 because they fixed the puncture whereas other suppliers suggested I would have to replace my tyre. Thank you Luca. I will always come to you!

Replaced all tyres at Gladesville branch, Luca the store manager was excellent, he had my tyres in the next day due to rego constraints at a very good price.
I highly recommend this store due to its management.
