I believe this was not a good customer experience. Paying around €7000 for furniture and then being charged extra for transportation, elevator use, or assembly was unexpected. As a woman living alone, I assumed that these services would be standard with Bolia. How you think that I will assemble the furniture?
You are not IKEA, you position yourselves as a more exclusive company, with significantly higher prices. While the design itself is beautiful and I truly congratulate the designer, the overall customer experience did not meet my expectations for the reasons mentioned above.
I would like to highlight that Lucia, who supported me throughout the process, was excellent and very helpful.
However, due to this experience, I will think twice before making another purchase or propose Bolia to another friend.

We have purchased the item that was discounted. Still it was quite expensive. The shop did not offer any way of transport, they did not even wrapped it up not provided any help while we were packing it. Three stars are only because the girl in the shop offered a trolley because it was extremely heavy item. Otherwise it would be a one star experience. Even though the item is on the sale, that should not change the fact that I am a customer. In my opinion the customer should remain well treated no matter the discounted price. Bolia, you easily became the worst customer service I have experienced so far. Hopefully the quality and durability of purchased item will not be on the same level.

Ordered online for pickup in store. The shop was supposed to have inventory. Never received a text my order was ready. Went to the shop, they had taken no action and no inventory, also could not backorder. They called the other Brussels store, that had three in stock according to the system, to confirm they actually had them. When I arrived at the other store, they only had two, both damaged. There was no way to sell me the damaged items at a discounted price. They would call the store in Ghent to check if the item in stock over there was actually in stock. Never received an email as promised. What a waste of my time and money for public transport to each of the stores.

Date of visit: Saturday June 19: The female sales assistant approached me in an arrogant way, while there was absolutely no reason to do so. At the contrary, I waited patiently for somebody to help me, and I bought the Kari rack later on.
The male sales assistant was very friendly though, and helped me getting the rack in the car. So I suggest that she gets a training in client-centered communication, and learns to deal with her inner negativity. Thank you.

I made a mistake while ordering and straight away realized it when reading the order confirmation email. So I called a first time 10min after purchase on a Danish number with a Danish voice menu.
I got confusing/contradicting informations from them about the available stock and then a promise to change the purchased items colour but they didn’t actually do that… now the colour I wanted has been sold out so I end up paying a lot of money for a sofa in the wrong colour.
I also wanted to add a pouf to the order but only the smaller one was available with the right fabric online and given the dimensions of the cosima sofa I ordered I needed the larger one… same story here, promises were made on the phone but not honored. All in all a terrible buying experience despite having met really nice people in the store.

Disappointed that we cannot collect the cushions we ordered at the Bolia store in Brugge, which we live close to. And to have to pay Euros 14 for delivery on top of almost Euros 400 cost of two cushions! But we need them to match our sofa.

Worst service ever... Never again.
We ordered an expensive flowerpot online, which had to be picked up at the depot. We received multiple reminder text messages, and even the day before, we got a message confirming that the item was ready for pickup at the depot.
When we attempted to collect it on the agreed day, there was no item at all. The person at the depot seemed to already know exactly which item I was there for and that it wasn’t available—as if this were part of their standard business model.
Customer service assured me that a new flowerpot would be sent free of charge. After multiple reminder emails, we suddenly received a "free order confirmation" with a delivery date.
Once again, text messages were sent stating that their partner, Oranje Transport, would deliver the item at an agreed time.
On the day itself, no one showed up. In the meantime, we have been relentlessly contacting Bolia's customer service with emails and phone calls, but we barely get any response. If you wait on hold for 20 minutes, you finally get an English-speaking agent who simply says they are "working on it."
By now, it has been two months since we placed our initial order, and we have had to call and email countless times—without ever receiving our order.
Our trust is gone. So is our energy to chase after our money. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had.

Ordered a rug over a month ago, with scheduled delivery in December. The rug and the slip mat has been paid for. More than four weeks later, I receive an email saying Bolia has sold too many of the carpet and therefore canceled my order - even though I paid for it months ago. I've been informed Bolia would refund me the money, which should be a given. Since this is a mistake on their part, I would have expected them to offer a similar discount on a different rug or some other alternative to compensate. I also had an issue with the slip mat - which apparently is underway - but I won’t need that now that I don’t have a rug…

Bolia is the worst store I have ever interacted with, I’ve never had an experience even remotely close to this.
Initially, the store staff appeared friendly and competent, but once we placed our orders, everything went wrong. Bolia provided incorrect product details, resulting in major issues with our orders. Due to their errors, we had to cancel everything, yet they only processed a partial refund, leaving us several thousand euros short. Their customer service has been a joke - despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, their support team has been utterly useless. It’s unacceptable that Bolia has mishandled their mistakes and withheld our money, forcing us to contact customer service daily with little hope of success. After almost a month, Bolia refunded me.
I deeply regret the day I decided to enter this store.

My experience with Bolia has been the worst I’ve ever had with any company. The number of mistakes and unprofessional errors they’ve made is staggering. Here’s a rundown of the nightmare:
Bolia provided me with incorrect specifications and details for the furniture I purchased, resulting in completely wrong orders. They also sent part of my order to an address where I don’t live, despite having received clear instructions. This misinformation and wrong dispatch led me to cancel all my orders.
The refund process has been absurdly complicated. Bolia insisted on handling refunds separately for dispatched and undelivered items, claiming they needed to wait for the items to return to their warehouse. Despite numerous calls and emails, they managed to send one of the refunds to the wrong bank account.
Even after providing detailed refund instructions, including order numbers, bank account names, and IBANs, Bolia continued to make mistakes. They confirmed the correct bank details before sending another refund, only to once again send it to the wrong account.
Every interaction with their customer service has been fruitless. None of their representatives could handle even basic tasks, and reaching a manager or someone from the financial department proved impossible.
Update: After submitting this review on several platforms, Bolia Belgium eventually connected me with a representative in Denmark. With assistance from their financial department, the refund issue was finally resolved within a few hours.
In response to Bolia's comments below, I want to clarify that the multiple email threads resulted from instructions provided by your customer service and the separate order handling initiated by Bolia. I had expressed concerns about the process from the start and suggested a simpler approach (as you can verify in our recorded conversations), but was directed to follow the complex procedure. It’s not accurate to blame the client for confusion caused by your convoluted return process. Taking accountability would help prevent similar problems in the future.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a sofa via their stores in paris when the store told us their customer service in denmark was unreliable. Order delivery date was missed. Neither customer service nor store can determine where sofa is. If it was manufactures or even sent. To this day we spent over 5000 euros and have nothing to show for it but promises and a rediculous pathetic offer of 50 euros. The store blames their own customer service and none of them provide any information or solutions. An absolutely terrible experience which probably will result in a terrible sofa as well. Hard to have any faith in this company at all.
