This is my first experience with Bolia

This is my first experience with Bolia. I bought my furniture in Brussels and was supposed to receive it in May in Portugal. I will receive it (hope so!!) next week!
Very bad customer service (no correct answer, nor good estimation of delivery time). Great deception! I would never recommend Bolia even if I love the design. This was a very bad experience!

1 Screw was defect!

1 Screw was defect! I bought a dinning table, excellent design, of course I pay a high price, expecting a premium quality product.
I was very upset about this screw defect, luckly i had an extra Ikea screw at home and i make it fit. This things must be review! Homework to the quality departnent.
Even though i bought again from Bolia, this time a coffe table, it will be delivered at end of July, hope it will be ok.
On the other hand, delivery should be free when you are spending high fees vs market, also i was dissapointed that they didnt offer me any compensation, boucher, discount, etc as Top Brands usually does.
in summary, I expect much more

What we like?
Nice design, friendly people in shop

What we didn’t like?

The fact to have to pay extras for maintenance products and transport is something which feels very strange for the (rather high) price you pay. Feels more like exploiting than caring about the customer.

The own pick-up of the product we bought does not match with the experience you’d expect to have.

Very bad delivery experience, missing a drawer, didn't find it until now

This is my second Bolia purchase and I have a good experience with the first delivery in 2021.11. But I had a really bad experience with the delivery of the second order.

I purchased three pieces of furniture in two order numbers, one of them, order number 700462807, had a coffee table and a deluxe drawer, but only one coffee table was delivered, missing the drawer.

I called Bolia Frankfurt store and emailed Bolia customer service, but two weeks have passed with no progress.

The attitude of the logistics staff is also very poor. He just hope that I sign the receipt as soon as possible, and don't care if the furniture is all delivered.

I've also seen a lot of customer here who have had the same bad experience as me.

Hope Bolia can help me solve this problem and improve customer experience, otherwise, I strongly advise other customers not to buy products from Bolia, the same accident may happen in the future.

Excellent service

I can’t remember the last time I received this quality of service in a shop. The staff were so friendly, patient and very knowledgable about their products. They explained everything about the various sofa options, fabrics and colours. Really trying to help us make the right choice. Same was true for booking a delivery appointment and ordering some extra pillows. Many thanks Nenad and Raquel! Tom

Very good experience.

Everything went fine, Scandinavia Couch has been delivered on time, 3 months after ordering on date. Only thing I hat could have been better, a week upfront delivery an short update note.

prices not adapted to reseller offer

I like their products very much and advise in the Brussels'store was great. But I can't accept that their price even during the promotion is 10% higher than the price of an internet reseller and that Bolia Belgian customer service refused to adapt their price or give us a voucher. I hope that Bolia Denmark will accept and send us the expected voucher of 150 euro price difference.

Overall great experience

Store personel (utrechtse straat, amsterdam) was very helpful in putting together the right design and material for our couch. Delivery was smooth and the couch is gorgeous and comfortable (scandinavian, with down cushions).

Poor service

Due relocating their warehouse it took us 5 visits (4 in the warehouse and 1 in the store) + numerous phonecalls and emails to get our mirror. No follow-up or what so ever. Poorest customer service experienced, though really happy with the mirror.

Quality products, REALLY BAD delivery system

After placing my order online, I had no idea what was going on with my order for more than a month. I had to call Bolia international multiple times to get some sort of status on my order, no one knew if my package has been shipped and no one knew where my package was - no tracking system whatsoever!!! When my local (Romanian) courier service finally got it, they took 3 additional days to deliver it and had to constantly be in touch with them to make sure they actually deliver it. Such a hassle for something that should be so normal and expected. Disappointing.
Overall, my order arrived 1 week late but very well packaged and intact - the rug I ordered was placed inside a wood construction and very well wrapped. Would avoid buying something from them if I were on a tight schedule.

Ok experience

Purchased a cutlery set online (Zeppelin series). They are beautiful but unfortunately everything was too long (in size) and would not fit in my kitchen drawer inset. Looked for alternative drawer insets but was not able to find a solution.

Shipment took longer than expected. I had to return the items and am waiting for a refund.

This was a really bad experience

This was a really bad experience! The delivery did not show as planned the first time, not the second time, not the third time (and no message!!) It’s really difficult to recommend these guys when delivery is 4 weeks delayed from the confirmed date and confirmed deliveries are not happening without any message. Buy your furniture somewhere else - here you just get cool commercials and not much else.

Expensive

Expensive, but not top qualite. Many of my items just failed after 1-4 years. Normal use. My stick-lamp exploded, my TV- stand startes to losen up in different corners/ sides, and my sofa broke its zip-lock on several seatcushions.
