After visiting the Malmö store we needed time to think over the offer. I rang the store a few days later to make the purchase and the person I spoke with had such a terrible attitude and wasn't friendly or helpful at all. I ended up making the purchase online.
Additionally, when I purchase a sofa worth 40 000kr and then have to pay 1000kr for delivery it leaves a bad experience in my mind when I think of this company. I have had larger and cheaper purchases delivered with full installation included in the price (king bed, a brand new kitchen, for example).
Furthermore, it leaves me puzzled that when I told the sales person that I would pick it up myself she replied that it costs just as much to rent a trailer. It highlighted to me that they must have not concept about the value of 1kr or the cost of renting a trailer haha.
The sofa is nice, and after close inspection not unlike other more reasonably priced brands, but hey you get a free coffee when you go into the store to look around. My wife likes it so that makes my life easier.
Would never buy full price from Bolia, as this is clearly a marketing concept brand which inflates prices then has massive sales which give 50% off to make you think you are getting a good deal. In reality it brings the item down to the standard retail price in my opinion.

Love the table I bought in store but had so much trouble with buying a second one online later that same day! I couldn’t get the second table sent to my neighborhood Bolia store so I would have to wait 5 extra weeks and go out of town to collect the second table... decided against the online shopping and settled for the one table I bought in store.

The service in store was excellent: we needed to measure the table first so they facilitated for us to place the order online later. Everything went as it should and the delivery was on the expected date and time as agreed. It was a very positive experience and so far i’m very satisfied with the product.

As there might have been a technical issue with sending text to a phone that was not local, I had to call them up, but the service I got was good with pleasant people working in the store. Despite not looking like someone you would typically be shopping at a midrange/ higher end furniture store, the clerks were attentive and gave me the right advice for my purchase.

The staff (Maja) in the store (in Malmo) was friendly and helpful throughout the process of buying and having the item delivered. She followed through to make sure all was OK at every step of the journey.

Im very disappointed by the item (a sofa), and I still dont know if Im gonna be able to return it as I will loose 50% of the value of the sofa + the delivery costs (2 times). The customer service doesnt help me at all. The informations on Bolia website are wrong, its just fooling clients!
I will never recommand Bolia to anyone. As an architect, you dont only loose 1 client; but many.

One of the closets (ROD 07) is broke, created a claim on 13th July, called on Mon 16th July the Customer Service and the answer received was to wait for the answer, called again yesterday the 18th July and apparently my initial email was not received, i'm waiting still for a replacement for the closet - currently i have no information

I got the media table with super poor painting job and one of the legs was darker than the others and now I must wait one and half month to get new one.

We bought two Sepia Sofas from Bolia some years ago. Comfort has been good, but the fabric has faded way beyond what to expect from sofas at this price group. Totally unacceptable. We wrote to Bolia explaining the problem and got a quite rude and useless answer back since they took for granted that we placed the sofa in "extreme sunlight" which definitely is not the case. Making assumptions on how we have treated the sofas without asking questions and without being the slightest accommodating is way beyond comprehension. Never ever again are we going to purchase any item from Bolia.
