Total lack of communication. After a long trip we arrived at the…

After a long trip we arrived at the hotel which we booked months in advance and paid for a couple weeks in advance, only to find that this hotel had been closed for 11 months. Thankfully we had been moved to a more reputable hotel, but we had to get another cab to take us to this hotel. We should never have been allowed to make a reservation at a closed hotel, or at minimum had some communication that it had been closed and where we were moved to. Just tried to send my concerns to the email listed on my confirmation form, but it was undeliverable (domain not valid). Very unhappy with the way booked.net conducts business.

As hurricane Ian was tearing up Florida…

As hurricane Ian was tearing up Florida we had a reservation thru booking dot net f for a Saturday night in Raleigh NC. Looking at the forecast for that weekend we wanted to play it safe and stay at home. Notifications to booking.net to inform them what our decision was - trying to get a refund from them - they don’t give a donkey doodle what the situation could be THEY WILLINGLY ARE GOING TO KEEP ALL OF THE MONEY. NO matter what. What a sleezeBag bag COMPANY. NEVER WILL I ever use them.

Beware of the website booked.net. they are misleading and come up when search for hotel reservations. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. FRAUDSTERS RUN BY THE MOFIA.

I used a hotel url, thinking I was booking directly which was not the case - it was booked.net, their name did not show until the transaction was completed. The MOB runs them.

As you were advised at the time of the confirmation, this booking has been made under special cancellation conditions. This means that it is non-refundable/non-amendable and once made, we cannot make changes or waive charges. Please note that these are the same conditions we receive from our suppliers and Hoteliers.
Regarding this, the hotel will usually not refund a non-refundable reservation. If you have a letter from the hotel confirming the difference, please send it over and we will contact the hotel.

We endeavor to assist you and offer flexibility wherever possible, however, in this instance we are unable to complete your request.
Only travel insurance could cover the cost.

DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE

DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE. I booked a room and the reservation said, very clearly, in a big green box, that my card would not be charged until I arrived at the property, I then got an email congratulating me on my PREPAID room after my card had been overdrafted hundreds of dollars. SCAM.

They keep your money and collect again from new customer

I booked a room at a Copenhagen hotel for a lay-over from Italy 8/12/2022 4:48pm and it was confirmed at 4:49pm. The room was for 9/15/2022

I sent an email a couple minutes later at 4:52 asking for cancellation and refund because it was booked in error. They denied the refund even though there was still another month for them to rebook with another customer.

I am quite certain they did fill the room and thus got paid twice for the same room. A bunch of crooks.

RESPONSE TO RESPONSE

As agents of the property you are just as responsible for this as the owner. That you refuse to accept the customer service aspect, given the nature of the reason for cancellation, merely bolsters my review. Policy is not the same as International Law.

We have reviewed your request and would like to inform that you booked a non-refundable rate that does not allow cancellations or changes, but any way we have contacted the hotel regarding your request.
Unfortunately the hotel refused the refund due to booked policy. The hotel strictly adheres to the non-refundable policy, therefore refused to make a refund of the funds. The decision of the hotel in this case does not depend on us, we tried to influence on property, but their decision remained unchanged.
If the hotel allowed us to cancel your booking free of charge, we would issue you a refund. In this case, it is, unfortunately, impossible, since the hotel withheld a fine of all sum of the order from us.

P.S.
The property sets its own policy for bookings and we have no control over it.
The conditions of this booking were clearly announced to you at the stage of booking, as well as after, in the voucher. You agreed to these terms at all stages.

P.S.
The booking policy is set by the hotel and we must act within its framework. We always make a refund if the hotel confirms it. In your case, the hotel did not confirm this.

On 9/27/22 Excellent help to a customer in need.

On 9/27/22 I had some questions about my hotel reservation in Habana Cuba, but I was unable to contact the hotel over the phone. Thanks to Jane I was able to get the email of the hotel. She was very pleasant and concerned about my problem.

Correct reaction on problems

Our reservation was canceled by a third party, without letting us know. We found out when we arrived at the apartment and were send away.
Booked.net immediately paid back our deposit, and after request compensated partly our extra made costs.

I sent email to change my reservation…

I sent email to change my reservation from 2 nights to 1. I received a response - with a question from Jane (to ensure the appropriate date was cancelled). I did not receive a reply to confirm and tried to call the US phone # (during posted hours) - the recording says the help desk is closed. Today is the last day to make changes without penalty. Can someone help?

un able to remove listed property

Hi,
I have my property listed in the Booked.net website without our permission, and now not sure how to take it down. I have sent emails to support @ booked.net asking their advise and we haven't got any response yet.
I need to take all my personal information off from their web site but the site does not provide any user access to do that.

Big problem

Big problem. Somehow booked.net have got into the hotel site website I booked in Thailand so the payment went through them rather than the hotel. The hotel is closed for renovations and not open for my booking date. Luckily I spoke to the hotel & they seem to think the booking is through expedia so maybe booking.net are agents of expedia. In any event I have emailed booked.net seeking a full refund and lodged a disputed transaction with Amex. We will wait on the result of the emails but I would be very careful dealing with booked.net

I am a motel owner and they are costing…

I am a motel owner and they are costing us business with false advertising. Saying our rooms and rates are cheaper than what they are. They keep hanging up on me when I request the fix or removal.
UPDATE: Remove our motel off your site immediately. We are not sending in updated anything to you after the experience I have had.

They cancelled our reservation the…

They cancelled our reservation the night before our arrival to the hotel for technical reason. We made our reservation on March for August and they took the money on July, but they cancelled the reservation the night before.
We contacted them and they said that they cannot do anything about this.
The worst company and customer service!!! Not a trusted company to book your vacation!!

Be careful

Be careful! This site is a scam! I booked a 120 meter suite in Antalya. Two weeks before the trip, I checked with the hotel that the reservation was indeed confirmed and I was told that instead of a suite, I was booked into one 24-meter room! I immediately called the website and the representative answered without caring that this is what is available and I can cancel. I had to pay more money on another site. Do not order from there!!

Unreliable

Originally the hotel booking was fine, we even called the hotel to make sure of it. One week before the holiday we got an email that the booking was cancelled without any given reason. When we called the hotel to ask what happened they told us the booking had been cancelled weeks ago already.

AVOID

AVOID! This hotel was booked months ago. It was incredibly difficult with work to make arrangements and I have two kids which they don’t care about even though it’s a child friendly all inclusive hotel. My whole family is there, cousins, ants, grandparents we have paid £2000 for tickets plus £4000 for the hotel so we can have a family holiday and they are telling me two days before that it is cancelled because of a mistake they made! Two days before! Absolutely despicable you have ruined our holidays.
