I messed up the dates of a non…

I messed up the dates of a non refundable booking recently at a hotel in Melbourne. How? Well I didn't check the details. But anyway an email to Booked.net and a phone call to the property and another email and the problem was fixed. Many thanks to Jane at Booked.net. Very impressive service!

Worst of the worst, Bank had to step in for refund

Room types are vague, bed selections are meaningless. Booked is a reseller of a reseller that will do whatever to make a buck. I made the stupid decision to try amd save a few Japanese yen and ended up paying 30 percent more out of pocket. The entire support team is defensive, dismissive and rude. They ended up telling me to pound sand, luckily my bank stepped in on my side and refunded me my money by force avoid at all cost.

Upon reviewing this case, please be advised that you booked an Economy Double Room Non-Smoking. This room type has only one double bed or two single beds.
Based on your email you wanted to have different bed options, then the hotel selected for you, requesting a bed change means upgrading the reservation. It was natural that the hotel would charge an additional fee for that request. Next time clarify the bed option right after your booking in order to avoid this issue.

We were also emailed by the property, and they confirmed that they had the same confirmed room type as what we had.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience; however, our company can't compensate for this kind of concern. It seems like there was some misunderstanding about the confirmed room type.
Again, we apologize for our inability to process any refund.

Do NOT use this company

Do NOT use this company! I booked a room in the Galapagos islands in December for my trip in March. When I arrived, they did not have a reservation for me. When they "found" a room, it was not the superior deluxe room I paid for, but was rather their lowest quality room that cost much less than I paid. I have been trying to be reimbursed, but they are not responsive, asking for ridiculous documentation, such as a photo of the person who checked me in. I'd have better luck getting a response from a brick wall. Do NOT use this company. EVER!

LISTED MY RESORT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION (FRAUD)

They copied my resorts photos from our instagram and facebook pages, created a listing without our permission. when i called to get listed removed, they played stupid and blamed booking.com. called booking.com and they confirmed never hearing of a site like that. FRAUD!!!!!!!!

Scammers.

Booked.net have infiltrated the website of a Japanese hotel. They have changed the hotel's cancellation policy and are charging my card for a 7-day booking (2158 GBP) up-front. If I cancel, there is a 'penalty' of $187

Not a trusted site - don’t use

We booked a room for tonight, 1/6. The goal was to find a clean room near the airport as we fly out very early in the morning.

The confirmation we got was for tomorrow 1/7. We called customer service and we were on hold for almost an hour. No one ever answered once we identified the problem, just perpetual hold music and then we were eventually disconnected.

We called the hotel directly in an effort to resolve the error and we’re told they don’t have rooms tonight.

When we tried to cancel, a message came up that if we cancel, we lose 100 percent of what we have paid - an entire night’s lodging for a room we can’t use - for an error that was not ours.

Total SCAM

Total SCAM! They have cloned my property details and are advertising it as if they have the right to sell nights. They do not. I have asked them to remove my property from their site, as we are currently closed due to family health issues. They have refused. What a horrible company.

Not trustworthy. Wrong price suggestion for reservation.

We made a reservation for a hotel in Hamburg via this page only to find out that they had suggested the senior citizens' rate which we did not qualify for and without any hint to that end during the reservation process. We ended up having to firstly discuss at length with the hotel staff and manager and eventually paying 30% more than the rate offered by booked.net. A very disappointing experience. We will surely not use this platform again and neither should you.

DONT TRUST THIS WEBSITE

mixup on website booked wrong date in hotel. Booked.net refused to change date and said it was in conditions.
They said Hotel would need to refund .. Hotel said NO.. said they had rooms on the night I wanted..

successful cancellation

Due to my Covid infection, booked.net succeeded in complete refunding my cancellation though I had booked my hotel without refunding option before! Thanks for that!
