Booked an Exec room at the Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford. Was allocated a standard room. On querying this with Reception, was informed that different booking companies use non standard terminology and that is the room I paid for (there was a cheaper option). Booked.net not of any help at all. Will not use again.
This is a scam they have lifted my property details without permission They have responded saying someone else gave them my details but that does not make sense as when you try to book it says it is not available when I know that it is .

Like so many reviewers here I wish I could award less than 1 star to this outfit, which is a scam. Like others I thought I had booked and paid on the home website of the hotel in question but received a confirmation from Booked.net, whom I had never heard of. I think I have since figured out how they hijacked my booking. The hotel in Switzerland was one I had used several times before and – probably like most folk – used Google to find the hotel website for my booking. I googled the hotel name and town. Google search results first list a bunch of other websites who pay Google for their positioning whenever a hotel is searched for. My search results therefore first featured all the usual suspects – Booking.com, Expedia, etc. and several I had never heard of. So, it was necessary to trawl though the search results to find the website of the hotel itself. This would typically be hotel name + place + domain suffix. This hotel does indeed have such a website. But also in the search results is a site called hotel name + place + “.booked.net”. This domain suffix is at best only visible in small print in the Google results. It also looks innocuous even if it were noticed – after all the website is in the name of the hotel. After clicking on this site, you are transported onto what looks like the home website of the hotel. In a top corner of this webpage there is a small unobtrusive “Booked.net” logo which a viewer is unlikely to notice because this slides out of sight as soon as you move past the picture gallery to engage with the booking process. You then book fully believing that you are talking to the hotel and getting its best prices when in fact you are paying the prices of an intermediary. You have been hijacked!
In the event the booking was made by Expedia and the hotel had not heard of Booked.net. The hotel charged me the far lower room price that they charge Expedia and credited me with the offsetting payment they had received from Expedia. A chunk of money had disappeared from my online payment to the detriment of both the hotel and me.

I dealt with Jane in customer support because I had questions about cancelling my reservations. Jane was very courteous and promptly resolved my issue and cancelled my bookings. The cancellation is in no way a reflection of Booked.net, its employees or rates. Unfortunately our event was cancelled, but I would definitely use your service in the future.
As a villa owner, I am trying to have the contact for partnerships since two weeks now.
I am not against them advertising my Villas, but I'd like to speak about any kind of strategy and content with someone like with any other OTA.
Never ever anyone took the time to five me an answer. I tried FB, e-mail, support, even called to the UK. Last try was with Dhisco Pegasus the mother company and they told me... "We do not provide the service you are looking for" what a joke!
If someone from booked dot net/hotelmix or whatever you are called wakes-up... you know where to find me.
Beware. Canceled our reservation a week before we were supposed to arrive. Called and the "customer service" was extremely rude, offered no help, and then hung up on me.
They have lifted our property listings without permission and are not authorized to do so. Not only are the listings inaccurate, they are against all of the rules at this residential complex. Booked.net appears to be a total scam.
Very disappointed with the Wine Village Motor Inn Rutherglen. We booked online through booked.net two rooms for one night and received a confirmation. The motel then contacted us to say we couldn’t stay one night we had to book for two and it would be a cheaper rate if we booked direct. So I booked for 18th and 19th March. I then found alternate accommodation and cancelled the online booking and also rang and cancelled the booking direct with the motel. The motel then took money from my credit card for a booking 18th and 19th February. I rang and explained that I had never booked in February and expected the motel to correct their mistake. They are refusing to return my $756.
Reservation cancelled
I had issue with Hotel Sapphire Istanbul , i booked at this page. When i was at place in Istanbul , it was big disappointed for me. Hotel was not like in pictures so i went and look for other one. I need reservation to cancel and want money refund from them. All this i made with people from booked.net. All process was not so quick but all information from their personal was good and true.
I just can said thanks to support. They answered all my mails, give me information and i need just to be patient.
Booked.net is good service and people work good. They just need to control these hotels , in my case the information form site and pictures was not real, so that is only what booked.net should improve in future.
Service and refund money was excellent.
I am a rental property owner in Chamonix France.
Whilst browsing the web, I discovered that two of my properties are advertised on this site.
They have clearly lifted the advert from another source without my permission, but in the process have created a list of errors which is too long to mention but the advert to say the least is very misleading.
What is more disturbing is that you can actually book through their site!
I worked with Diana on a trip to Cabo San Lucas - she was so delightful and so helpful to work with. Highly recommend!
I really appreciated the service of Diana
She was very comprehensive of our problem about COVID situation and help us
Reactive, kind, polite and human
Like a perfect hotel staff
Thank you again for your kindness

I would like to bring to the attention of anyone wishing to book a hotel stay via GETARROM or BOOKED.NET, to be careful because this site is a fraudulent platform without any professionalism.
To explain the whole story to you, I booked a double room at the hotel palmeraie golf palace Marrakech from May 12th to 16th, 2021, under the reservation number R2509703815, until now, everything is fine ... but by wanting to change a detail in the reservation and by calling the hotel directly to make the modification, I learn that the hotel has been closed for more than a year because of this health crisis.
I, who believed that my reservation was made on the official website of the hotel, I notice that it was made via BOOKED.NET, with the complicity of GETAROOM, who usurped the hotel's website, to give the impression to the customer wanting to reserve that they are in the direct site of the establishment and thus defraud them.
So I called their various collaborators while spending a fortune in phone costs and having to repeat my mishap, and to cancel my reservation before my credit card was debited, because I had the right to make a cancellation free until 24 hours before check in, but to my surprise the debit was made from my credit card on 05/11/2021, i.e. the day of the reservation and 2 days before checking of EUR 1083.65.
The funny thing is that they replied that after their verification the hotel was open, but this is completely false information, since the hotel is closed for a little over a year. What a big scam to collect money from customers for closed hotels, beware, stay away from these two scammers.
After several written exchanges with the chain of the ROTANA group to which LE PALMERAIE PALACE belongs, who confirmed to me that they have no relationship or agreement with BOOKED.NET and with GETAROOM, and therefore in no case do they have the right to market the rooms of this hotel.
After several calls and reminders to both platforms It was promised to me by GETAROOM according to my last phone conversation, that they will send me the reimbursement of this amount , whereas I did not receive until this day any reimbursement or written confirmation.

I booked a hotel in the UK and then had to cancel it because my wife was not well after a recent operation.
All of my money has been returned, so after reading other reviews I can say my experiences were positive

reimburse issue:
I had to cancel my reservation in Agadir, Morocco - before the due date, however, it has been days now, still I have not got anything. My wife sent them an email to ask for clarifications but no response. This is not professional at all.

Booked.net have cancelled my hotel-reservation without my consent - and at the same time charged my account for the stay. The issue was an expired creditcard on which the booking was made. When the Credit Card expired I was asked to provide the new credit card number, which I did.... obviously, since Booked.net have charged this new creditcard.
I am now trying to get through to booked.net via telephone and e-mail, but get absolutely no response from them.

It’s a Fraud company, I made a reservation at a hotel for the city of Bogota. When we got to the hotel there was no reservation. I complained and they spent more than 8 days and they never returned my money. Terrible experience and you have to be careful with them.
