I have been so utterly impressed with Booking Hawk. I researched and considered so many different booking platforms for my yoga business ahead of choosing Booking Hawk - and I am so glad I chose them! The public facing booking page of the site is simple, and lacks the pizazz of other (more expensive) platforms, however, that is the only small drawback to this platform. It performs everything you could want it to, at such a reasonable price. And the Customer Service is extraordinary! Niall and his team are really helpful and so quick to respond to any queries. After researching so many booking systems, I actually stumbled across BookingHawk by pure coincidence. I decided to give the system a trial and I can honestly say that I am overjoyed with all the features and the functionality. I wanted something that was easy to navigate for both my clients and myself; which could also accommodate our personal needs and include a unique booking experience for each client. I had an idealistic mindset that my booking system needed to be simple and most importantly I wanted the design to be clear, clean and modern. My peeve is websites that look cluttered, too busy and a mind field of irrelevant and confusing information that just looks messy! BookingHawk offers so much accessibility which is great. The customer service is excellent and both Katie and Niall came to my rescue many times when I was just learning and getting used to the system, they answer questions quickly, clearly and have been brilliant. I can definitely foresee a long future with BookingHawk whilst I remain teaching my classes. Thank you for creating a wonderful system!

Good and professional

I am very happy with my experience using booking hawk so far. I had been thinking about implementing a booking system for a while but felt that booking systems like mind-body were not for small individual teachers like me - they are aimed more at the yoga studio model.
Then Covid hit and everything went online. I was taking payments through paypal and the admin in registering and taking payment was alot!
Around this time I was getting a new website designed so I decided it was time to go for it and get some sort of online payment option sorted. I did a lot of research and I found bookinghawk was exactly what I needed and within a reasonable budget.

I love that I know exactly how many people are booked into a class in advance and all their details are stored properly in one place, effortlessly. My revenue has increased since implenting this system even with the percentage fee on each transactions. I put that down to making it so easy for people to book and pay in advance. I have asked my customers and they all reported the system was easy and quick to use from their end.

I honestly don't know how I managed without bookinghawk for so long. The amount of time I spend on admin has decreased significantly. My classes are busier now - I think people really want to be able to book online and when they pay in advance they are more committed to coming to class.

It is also really handy to be able to email the whole class in one go and to be able to cancel a class or change dates so easily. During the lockdowns I loved the feature where I could set up my online classes on bookinghawk and it would automatically generate a zoom meeting and send the link.

I also find the website very easy to use .
I would definately recommend booking hawk to any sole trader yoga or pilates teachers - it really was a gamechanger for me.

A few weeks into the Covid pandemic I went online with my yoga classes through Zoom. I was online but I didn’t have a booking system to support my online classes. I was taking payments thru Revolut & PayPal but was relying on people to pay for classes they were taking and I did have some issues with not receiving payments from people. This spurned me into researching a booking system to support me in linking payments to class access. I wanted an Irish booking system, that was important to me. I came across Bookinghawk and realised they could give me the features I was looking for. In particular it was important for me to have the ability to contact class attendees before a class to let them know what the plan for the class was & what props they might need. It was also important that I could contact those attendees again after class with a link to the class recording. Bookinghawk provided this feature and I was happy to try the demo. Niall was super helpful in getting my booking system setup, no questions were too daft to be asked and every query was answered promptly & helpfully.
With having the Bookinghawk system in place I know in advance how many people I’m expecting at a class & I’m paid in advance of classes. People are now booking directly rather than texting me to hold a place in a class which cuts down on my admin time.

In my experience the Bookinghawk customer service is second to none and the pricing is great value. For anyone considering a yoga booking system I can highly recommend Bookinghawk; you won’t regret it.

Before implementing BookingHawk all bookings were done either in-person or on the phone including all card payments being processed manually (digit by digit), this resulted in feeling permanently on-call even at weekends and when I was on leave. It felt that I couldn't take any mental time off for fear of loosing potential business. Plus all calls/emails took time to reply too.
One Christmas about 5 years ago, I knew I had to make a change. I had crossed paths with bookinghawk though a mutual work colleague so I reviewed what they had to offer and decided to avail of their 30 day free trial. The results on my down time could be seen immediately, as I could automatically divert any potential customers to the booking site which I was able to update and personalize to reflect the services that I offered. It also gathered client information in a GDPR compliant way which was essential.
As a result, it reduced laborious and unnecessary replying to emails and texts as all the information is now included on the booking site for my clients that I can access from my PC at anytime. People can book 24/7 365 and it still surprises me when I see bookings coming in during the middle of the night. I also process manual card payments using the site so that all my card payments use the same platform and their biggest selling point is their customer care which is second to none. Any improvements I had experienced were magnified when pretty much 90% of my business went online due to covid.
My advice to those considering a booking system is to definitely consider bookinghawk and avail of their 30-day trial. Look at the other businesses using the site and see how they display their services on the site so that you can get the maximum benefit from the trial. Its great that it offers a pay-monthly option but I find I just pay yearly as I often have customers booking up to 3 months in advance so for a few euro, I have decided to keep the booking option open to my customers 24/7 even if I am on leave for a few weeks, so that they can see my services and book now or maybe return to book later.

In addition to teaching yoga online, I also have a full time job. So trying to keep track of bookings, remembering to send links etc was tricky.
Signing up with Booking Hawk took that extra work away from me.
I find it really easy to use. I can set up my monthly classes really quickly on my phone. Booking Hawk takes care of everything from there. Bookings, setting up the zoom link, cancellations, refunds, everything! All I have to do is show up for class!
You don’t need to be “techy” to use it and the support team are great if you mess up or are unsure about anything.
If you’re considering implementing a booking system, I’d say go for it. It’s a great system and one that’s constantly being upgraded with new features.

Before I had an online booking system, my admin took more time than actually teaching my classes. I can honestly say that deciding to use BookingHawk was the best thing I did to take the stress out of running my business. I have been using BookingHawk since October 2020, installation was really smooth and their customer service is exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure that any queries are dealt with immediately and always provide a personal experience. I now no longer have to keep track of payments and always know in advance exactly who to expect in my classes. My students tell me that they find the system really easy to use. I particularly like the feature that allows me to give different people their own personal booking code for discounts when required. I would highly recommend BookingHawk to any teachers looking for a booking system, it’s extremely good value for money and will allow you to focus on your teaching instead of your admin.
