I'm very disappointed because I have yet to get flights to the retreat. I have been working on this matter for three days now. It is extremely frustrating and time-consuming. Your company already has my money for the retreat, yet I'm still getting threatening messages asking if I plan to still attend. Uggggghhh!!!!

I spent 30days in Ho Chi Minh City in district 7, my Luxury apartment was right next to my training ground @ SSG Gym, probably the most facilitating gym I’ve been in including personal training for Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA & CrossFit! This place has everything you can imagine including cages, rings, running track and vast equipment as well as a free weight gym with sauna and ice baths not forgetting a gym bar and shop!

During my time there I had a Host named Tai who was there in the hotel and just on the end of the phone for anything I may need. He was very helpful, professional, accurate and prompt with responses and faciltated any of my needs even down to transportation when travelling through different districts!

His work ethic was very humble and appreciated for everything I asked from him, it really does make things a lot quicker when you have a host like Tai who has good knowledge of the local community and connections taking on all the paper work for you so you can just crack on like I did with my gym and boxing!

Lastly to finish off my long duration there he brought me some gifts for myself and girls including the boxing gloves I had to train with and a nice SSG logo bag which was very much appreciated!

Ever since I discovered this website last year, I enjoyed booking two retreats with ease. There are so many intriguing retreats near and far it's sometimes difficult to choose (in a good way). I'm grateful to the staff who make everything function on this website!

It was easy to find and book a retreat. There was good information about each retreat. It was important to find the right match for a retreat.

The whole booking process and making payments were stress free and straightforward to follow.

I was impressed with the amount of information about the retreat and for me the reviews drew me in as it all sounds really authentic and friendly. In addition to that I think it sounds very good value!!

Had a horrific time at the Spiritual Sacred Medicine Retreat hosted by Shaman Lizzy. On the first day, I took a microdose that gave me a near-anxiety attack. I decided this was not for me and said I'd be leaving early. They refused to refund anything except the deposit, meaning it cost me $1,535 for an awful microdose. That is outrageous. I didn't even stay 24 hrs and hardly ate any food. Lizzy refused to even come out of her bedroom (where she spent most of her time) to explain anything. Zero compassion. 110% greed. Her assistant watched me like a hawk as I left. I was made to feel like a criminal for not believing in the hype. Really unprofessional. They had no protocols in place for someone who might have a bad reaction. They just dismissed you. The house had a haphazard look, like a college dorm decorated for a quick party, complete with a nasty fridge. Food was nothing like the pics; it was randomly ordered takeout, and participants were not consulted. Temp was freezing at night. Unorganized regimen, inattentive host, complete nonsense. They put out culty vibes from the start, going on and on about how DMT was the miracle cure for everything wrong in one's life and how amazing and special Lizzy was, etc. They were selling it so hard that I now wonder if the drug was the real thing. Recalled to me the effect of taking bad Molly once. The Host, her partner, and the Assistant all had the slimy air of being two-faced evangelists for salvation. Yuck. They have no business dispensing "sacred medicine" of any type. Shame on BookRetreats for enabling scammers and conspiring to rob people who come with open hearts. They claim to care about your experience, but they'll steal your money without hesitation. Also, because my stay was marked as "cancelled," there's no option for me to put up a review on their site. Talk about deceitful! That's why you only see great reviews; it's all manipulated. In short: the worst retreat/vaca of my entire life.
