I had booked a retreat
I had booked a retreat, which, however, initially requires a consultation with the doctor leading the retreat. This was not mentioned at the time of booking—nor was I able to book this (paid) session at the same time. It wasn’t until after I had booked that I was informed of this requirement via an email to which I couldn’t reply or ask for clarification. Only after I followed up twice was I sent the link to the portal where I could book the additional consultation with the doctor—which is a prerequisite for participating in the retreat. I think there’s a better way to handle this.

I have not yet experienced the retreat itself. But the interaction with the people of BookRetreats.com was warmhearted. They were alert at keeping the conversation by email between me and the host of retreat I was interested in going, and were fast in answering my questions and helping.
Also the conversation with the host of the retreat was satisfying, with answering all my questions, mostly in very short time. And I've decided to book the retreat.
