I had the most wonderful stay at Harmony Surf Lodge, and I cannot recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and attention. Celine, our host, was absolutely amazing, she made sure every detail was perfect, and her warmth and kindness made us feel right at home.

As a vegetarian, I was especially touched by the effort the chef Abdrahim, put into preparing meals for me. He created the most delicious vegetarian tagines, full of flavor. it really made my experience unforgettable.
The surfing lessons were another highlight. Both Sarah and Hassan were incredible teachers. They were patient, encouraging, and truly skilled at helping beginners feel confident in the water. Thanks to them, I not only learned to surf but also had so much fun doing it.

The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful care, delicious food, and fantastic surf lessons made this trip absolutely perfect. I left feeling relaxed, happy, and already looking forward to coming back.

Why and why not to come to Om Nirvana

For me it’s the third time spending a longer amount of time (couple weeks) in a yoga school and it’s definitely the best.

The school is located in very calm sourroundings in the Himalayan mountains, I had an incredible view from my room.

The owner is a very caring and kind person and at the same time a very skilled and knowledgeable teacher. I will miss his power Vinyasa & Ashtanga classes 💛
Due to his experience he knows what’s going wrong in other schools and tries to fix those problems here which makes a unique experience.

Many Yoga schools exist to have a business. This one is about sharing knowledge and living the yogic lifestyle.

So if you’re looking for a fast or cheap way to get your ytt certificate don’t come here. If you want to earn it, this is the place to be❤️

Also: Food here is amazing 😍

Found an mega holiday!

This retreat was truly an unforgettable experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, and I loved meeting so many like-minded people. The instructors were professional, knowledgeable, and brought such great energy to every class—starting the day with a morning yoga flow and ending with evening yin or restorative yoga was the perfect balance.

The yoga shala itself is breathtaking—practicing with that stunning view never got old. The massages offered were excellent, and having access to a spectacular private bay beach (that felt like something straight out of a movie) made the stay even more special.

The food was delicious and diverse, nourishing in every way. From the thoughtful design of the space to the calming atmosphere, every detail felt intentional and inspiring. It was also wonderful that other activities could be arranged directly through the retreat, and the airport pick-up and drop-off service made everything so easy and stress-free.

I left feeling completely recharged and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend this retreat to anyone seeking peace, connection, and a beautiful environment to practice yoga. 🌿✨

I’ve already booked three trips through them — first in Portugal and then in the UK — and every experience has been wonderful. The retreats themselves were excellent, and the BYR customer service was outstanding: efficient, responsive, and supportive from the moment of booking all the way until the journey back home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless and inspiring yoga retreat experience!

Excellent company, lots of yoga options, great communication and site is very easy to use. Highly recommend 4 Day Glamping Yoga Retreat in the Lake District National Park, it was amazing.

I booked a yoga retreat through their site and paid a deposit. Before paying, luckily I confirmed again everything in writing. Eight days before arrival, the resort suddenly told me they had “just booked up all their rooms” and they no longer had space for me (!!!!) and wanted to send me to a derelict, isolated place on the other side of the island — while still charging the same premium price for the accommodation I had originally booked.

When I refused and escalated to Tripaneer, their stance was disturbingly neutral, as if it was perfectly acceptable for a resort to cancel and leave guests stranded days before their holiday. Only when I threatened to report them to the Dutch regulator did they react. They refunded my deposit and offered a €50 pity-voucher — which I’ve since learned by reading the reviews, that its their standard way of brushing people off.
This is not a one-off. The organiser I booked with was clearly luring clients with photos of a nice hotel on a nice beach, then downgrading them last minute to much cheaper properties. Tripaneer knew this (after my incident at least), yet decided to continue working with them - they still advertise their programmes. That in itself shows the duty of care of Tripaneer to their clients is zero.

For anyone considering them: Book directly with hotels or retreat centres. In most cases you will find better deals anyway and you will always be protected by your credit card (more reliable safety net that Tripaneer, remember you can always ask for a chargeback long after the transaction).
Incidentally, I am also finding out from owners’ reviews that Tripaneer keeps 30% (30!!!) commission. What a rip-off for them but what a rip-off for the unfortunate clients too. Tripaneer still makes money when the client uses the €50 pity voucher. There is zero ethos on this.

The biggest issue is Tripanner's purpose: They vet no properties, they don’t ensure standards, they don’t protect their clients, and they exercise no leverage over dishonest resorts or organisers — even when it’s clear they could intervene and resolve matters fairly. So what exactly is their purpose as a company besides getting a third of the price?
they are simply an aggregator taking a commission. In that case, they should say so clearly on their website so customers know they are booking entirely at their own risk. And oh, that they do!

Yoga workshop and travel exceeding expectations!

The personal attention with yoga, the diverse hikes, the food, the accommodation and host were all great.

Superb! Federico's yoga instruction was outstanding, Riccardo's admin was excellent. The accommodation was simple and rustic and very clean. Accommodation staff and volunteers very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Location was perfect and activities well organised and thought-out. Thoroughly recommend 108 Yoga Retreats!

All the employees from the retreat center were friendly, always kind and polite to provide information. Knowledge and keen to help.
I had some difficulty and couldn't attend, but I will make this trip for sure.
