Very informative and accessible information that we all need to know about. Makes a dry subject easier to follow, even for someone new to all this.

Boring Money helps normal people make smarter investment decisions - quickly and painlessly. We're an independent business founded in 2015 to cut through financial jargon and make investing accessible to everyone. No PhD required! Millions of Brits have used us as a trusted source for savings, investments, and pensions guidance. With over 24 years in the investment industry, our founder, Holly Mackay, got tired of watching people struggle through pages of gobbledygook. Here's the secret: once you get past the jargon, sensible investing is actually quite easy. What we do: ✔Compare ISAs, pensions, and investment platforms with independent ratings and reviews ✔Run annual Best Buy Awards based on 26,000+ customer ratings and rigorous testing. ✔Provide clear guides and articles explaining finance in normal language. ✔Offer tools like calculators and quizzes to help you make decisions. ✔Share honest customer reviews so you can learn from real experiences. ✔Help you take action - whether that's opening an ISA, choosing funds, or finding an adviser. We offer generic guidance, not personalised financial advice (we're not regulated advisers). If you've ever felt alienated, patronised, or exhausted by finance, you're in the right place!

Holly not so boring!
The emails are clearly written in an engaging and entertaining manner. They explain many things an individual investor needs to know.

Excellent clear advice from Holly
Everyone should visit this site
Go to site for investments and demystifying the jargon about different things on offer for ISA’s and Pensions especially.
Holly at Boring Money - Entertaining, but......
Holly at Boring Money has always been an accomplished and entertaining wordsmith, but failing to disguise distaste for a particular politician is unlikely to receive universal approval and, if anything, may restrict the growth of her future audience.
Holly's newsletter is well written and…
Holly's newsletter is well written and actually funny. Much better than the very dull stuff I usually have to plough through. So some finance experts can really write - who knew?
Worth subscrbing to Holly's Newsletter
I always enjoy Holly's witty and interesting newsletter with snippets of financial news and investment know how.
Reasonably easy to digest financial outlook articles.
I chose Holly's site for a reasonable and regular digest of UK and World financial overviews.
I like her style of financial journalism.
It suits me as an infrequent investor who has simply gained financial knowledge freely from the internet out of necessity to prevent erosion of life
savings.
I can tolerate the regular links to investment products; Holly has got to make a living too. They're balanced fairly with articles that I've learned a little from or confirmed my understanding.
Good info
I've been following the investment advice for many months excellent ETF advice.
Its a shame she can't talk about individual shares like Arm, Nvidia, Raspberry Pi, etc

Don't bother...
I signed up for some kind of market research panel to earn a bit of cash. Weirdly they never invited me to do a single piece of market research but they did start sending me spam emails about making investments which I never signed up for.

Excellent service
I read the weekly blog which is always informative and as a bonus it's quite often entertaining as well.
Recently I asked Holly a question regarding NI voluntary contributions and contracting out because it seemed even the Pension Service did not know the answer. Holly went above and beyond to find an answer and eventually got as definitive an answer as possible from an ex minister no less.
That's what you call truly great service, and let's not forget, this was at no cost to myself.

Best avoided
I joined this site because it advertised market research opportunities. It is nothing of the kind. I’m unsure if they are trying to be a Martin Lewis type site without the integrity or if it’s a front to sell financial products. Either way, I was lured into joining under false pretences. If they have to lie about what they do, they are not trustworthy. Avoid!

Very informative and entertaining…
Very informative and entertaining weekly round ups by Holly. Love this site.
Anything but boring!
Clear, pragmatic, interesting and fun! Hollys commentary and blogs are engaging and a welcome contrast to the often dry commentary of others
