Very Poor betting company

Poor betting company, closed my account for no reason; this is what they said

"22. BresBet reserves the right to close or suspend your account at any time and for any reason."

I respect their choice to block customers they feel might cause them to lose money but I also have the right to review as 1 star as its very poorly operated,

We never block or close anyone's account just because they’re winning.

Whilst we always try to avoid closing or restricting anyone’s account, sometimes we have to. Reasons for doing this include us not being able to verify someone’s identity, us suspecting someone’s opened an account using false or altered details to get around Gamstop blocks or self-exclusion (on our licence), or if someone attempts to open multiple accounts.

Terrible bookmaking site.

Terrible bookmaking site.
No live chat, so any issues will take a long time to resolve.
I was around £1000 down at one point, nevermind that's gambling. I then went on to win around £700 so I'm only £300 down.
Bresbet have now restricted my betting stakes to £1. I was allowed to place stakes of £300, £200, £100 etc previously. Now I've had a decent week they've restricted it to £1. This is shocking behaviour in my opinion. Nothing illegal as it's all in their terms and conditions when you sign up, but I don't think it's playing fair to restrict people on a roll, whilst allowing large stakes to continue when you are losing.
I'd avoid these guys at Bresbet, obviously the odds are in their favour anyway but even with that built-in advantage they still don't play fair.

As we explained in our email, we do try our best to accommodate your bets, but we also have to consider our internal trading policies and risk on each market. We won’t restrict or limit anyone just because they’re winning. It's also worth bearing in mind that limits may be different if the event you want to bet on is pre-match or in-play.

I chose this firm from a list of 20 because of their introductory offer.
I would get 50% of my losses back as a free bet the next day.
I received NOTHING!
I decided to email the support and appear to have been ignored.
Poor!

Decent betting site

I just can’t understand some of these reviews. I’ve been betting with BresBet for a while now and think they’re decent. On the occasions I’ve contacted their customer service team I’ve always found them quick, helpful and polite. Even had bets priced up through live-chat that aren’t on site. Loads of offers each week and my withdrawals have been super quick as well. Will continue to use a bookmaker that actually cares about their customers!

Easy to use but beware especially if you have a credit balance

Website easy to use. Offer variety of sports. But despite ‘allowing’ me to deposit and place bets some winning sons losing, they then decide to ask me for not just ID and not just proof of address but bank statements not just showing transactions to and from them and my wages being credited but they ask to see personal transactions on my accounted shopping etc quoted the gambling commission requires this of them. Bye Bresbet, who the hell do you think you are!

We’d like you to know that the information you send through to us will always be treated in the strictest confidence and won’t be shared elsewhere.

cant withdraw - cant speak to anybody - maybe i can actually get a response here

when trying to withdraw it won't give me any options to withdraw and when clicking on help it just says 'page not available' The website in general is very glitchy compared to others.

My experience with bresbet

My experience with bresbet.

I had my welcome offer free bet withheld for apparent IP conflict. I explained to them it was impossible for my IP to be conflicted as i use a mobile sim inserted directly into my laptop so no one else could have that IP. They were quite firm and unhelpful in their responses and left me feeling like i was been deliberately accused of cheating, which i definitely wasn't so i immediately raised a complaint with IBAS. Ibas require a deadlock number for which i asked bresbet for 3 times i was ignored each time.

After explaining that i would contact IBAS and tell them i was being ignored i received the following email:

Hi Lewis,



"Thanks for your email.

I've checked with our compliance team and please accept my apology for the delay in sending you the IBAS deadlock number you requested. You can use **** as your deadlock number with IBAS.



I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure you that I've made a further check of the IP address you used to place your bets and it looks like the matching account may have been using software to alter their IP address. I appreciate that this will feel very unfair to you as it is the behaviour of the ‘matching customer’ rather than your behaviour that is questionable. Given this new information, I’ve credited your account with the welcome bonus.



Your emails have highlighted a couple of issues that we're now addressing internally and we've amended our processes so other customers shouldn’t have the same experience. Having said that, unfortunately there isn’t a work around that will allow us to flag to customers before they place their bets that their IP address has already been used for an offer – although this is something we would like to be in a position to offer as the technology becomes available"


I have used many betting sites and never had this issue which appears to be unique to bresbet and to make this issue worse before writing this review i encouraged my GF (who lives alone with her child) to sign up from her house - and guess what? The same thing happened again.

Having said this, after officially complaining to there ADR they did look into the issue and issue the free bet but in the first instance they assumed i was lying and witheld it without looking into it any further- it is clear there is a problem with there systems and it shouldnt take an exernal complaint to resolve it.

THE WORST BETTING SITE IVE USED BY A MILE I WAS OWED £20 free bet for my horse coming 2nd on a flat by a nose! And the choose to close my account instead that’s a disgrace!!! On the rare occasions when a mistake has been made at our end, we’re always happy to rectify the situation.

We typically only close accounts if a customer requests it, if someone has been repeatedly aggressive or abusive to members of our team, or if we’re required to do so under guidelines by the UK Gambling Commission.

Really positive experience with customer services who helped quickly with a withdrawal issue I had and were really friendly in the process.

there customer service is a joke take for ever to pay out

horse i backed pulled as soon as it came out of stalls over 1 mile 6 most bookmakers gave a refund not this lot my advice do not bet wiht this them ever they are a joke has to be the worst company i have ever delt wiht read all the other reviews can we all be wrong

I have been waiting over 3 months for a response to a complaint and in the process they closed all my accounts with their sister sites without any explanation or informing me they were doing this. Customer services just ignore you on all platforms so I would stay away if I was you.
