Consumers expressed deep frustration over unexpected fines, unexpected charges, and unhelpful customer service appeals that never seemed to succeed. I rented a flat in the property where britannia parking is managing the private parking for. My nr plate was registered with them by the landlord but they issued me a ticket. Will they want me to pay for every day I lived in here even if this is the car park dedicated exclusively for tenants of this property? They even sent me the ticket to the address I live in so they know I am qualified to park here.

Britannia has responded with a positive outcome to the issue I had so well done and 4 Stars well-earned.
One mark deducted as their letter did imply that I was "continuing to breach terms and conditions" which isn't true and is perhaps just not worded very well.

Parked in Spires car park Barnet

Parked in Spires car park in Barnet. Paid correct parking charge when I left. Two weeks later received a penalty notice saying I hadn't paid the parking charge. Fortunately I had my credit card statement with the transaction showing that I had in fact paid. Be warned. Take a photo of the machine when you pay showing the payment. How many people just pay up to these crooks?

If I could leave zero stars I would

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely appalling company. Stayed in one of their car parks for 2 hours and went to multiple of their payment machines of which none were working although we tried many times. Then get a fine for £100 which I contested and explained both me and my daughter tried multiple times to which I got a response "dont believe you" and the next thing I know the fine is £170! Disgusting company

Britannia Parking

Britannia Parking, DCBL & DCB Legal — a predatory conveyor belt
All it takes is a quick stop, confusing terms or a disputed notice and you’re in the system. Britannia fires off the “charge”, then you’re passed to DCBL (yes, the Can’t Pay? We’ll Take It Away! TV outfit) and on to DCB Legal—same machine, different letterheads—engineered (in my view) to confuse, intimidate and grind people down. My credit score fell 176 points the day a CCJ landed. Channel 5 has even been found by the courts to have breached privacy over the show—turning hardship into entertainment speaks volumes.
Practical tip: use TrustOnline to see the CCJ date/court/case no. If you discover a CCJ, pay in full within one calendar month and submit Form N443 with proof to the issuing court (often the Civil National Business Centre) to have it removed; pay later and you can mark it Satisfied.

How stupid can you get??

Would you believe these idiots have now issued me another PCN for exactly the same reason. Parking overnight in a carpark I live 5 mins from. How F'in stupid can you get? This is for 1 day after the last PCN which would suggest to me an IT issue!! Are these brain dead morons that stupid. Again @ Britannia brain dead I will see you in court and you will get doubley hammered. I look forward to it 👍

I have no problem paying reasonable…

I have no problem paying reasonable prices and even fines for a legit service. This company is abusing the public with its rigid, unreasonable fines and timelines. I paid for parking using my other car's reg plate by mistake in the app. Appealed. Was looking for an email but missed it and deadline. Could have been £20 after appeal - now £100 because I was late seeing email. For what? I mean the £20 for admin costs was a stretch for sure. Now what gives them the right to get £100 from me? I paid for parking! This should be pursued in parliament. I will see to that. Parking should not be so stressful and they are not earning this money they are making off the public. Shameful!

£20 per day and no less

£20 per day is the only option for paying to park at Ashford Surrey near the Tesco Express. This is very shady because this is not made clear and bold upfront until you park and go up close to read the parking information signs. By then you are trapped as there is no grace period mentioned

Terrible company

Received notification that a parking fine was now £95 has hadn’t been paid within 14 days. I never received the first parking fine letter so contacted them, no response received and therefore had no option but to pay £95 before the deadline and threat it would be handed over to debt collector.

At the time of the alleged offence in…

At the time of the alleged offence in May, the only available parking machine at the location was out of order, making it impossible to pay for parking.

I did not receive any prior correspondence or notification regarding this fine until now, when I received a letter from a solicitor demanding payment of £170 and threatening legal action. I find this both surprising and concerning, especially given that the failure of the parking machine was entirely outside of my control.

It is unreasonable and unfair to penalise individuals for not paying when the facility to do so was not available. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and the fine withdrawn.

For my next steps I know need to spend hours of my life proving I never received the parking fine and that the machine was out of action (lucky I took a photo).

I find it hilarious people are ranting.....after paying them. I'm not paying, they havnt a hope.
Just feel sorry for those that paid.
Anyway keep paying if you are weak.
A certain person parks on purposely , after all, it isn't me is it , without paying just to have the fun of beating them each and every time .
Don't fall for their terms. They are not in authority , or an authority.
Any of their terms are not recognised, as I'm just the registered keeper.
Of course I'm not the driver! Ho ho ho.
Still not got me yet, nor has parking eye , ukpc , etc.
Keep trying !

False ticket issue

I was issued with a £100 parking fine for not having a ticket despite the fact that I did have a pay and display ticket. Ticket was clearly displayed on dashboard. No easy appeals process if you didn't keep the original ticket (and why would you when you legitimately paid). They are an extortion racket masquerading as a proper company. I have read all the horror stories about them so just paid it rather than fight, though now I feel like I have given in to malpractice.

Paid for parking by cash but then fined to say i didnt pay. VIDEO WHEN PAYING BY CASH AS YOU MAY NEED TO PROVE YOU DID. This seems to be a common occurrence with them!! selling details to debt companies to get more money. AWFUL COMPANY & car park was in bad condition too!

Tricked out of £20 paid under protest…

Tricked out of £20 paid under protest to cover Brittania Parking's unsubstantiated unreasonable 'costs', despite them accepting my evidence that that I paid for parking and that their machine did not properly register my car's registration.
Did not provide number needed to make independant appeal, so prevented from doing that.
Heads they win, tails I lose.
