I had a bad experience with British home sellers. Initially I had a local agent selling my place for a month and had steady viewings. I had a leaflet put through my door from British home sellers informing me that they wished to sell my house, they told me that my valuation and the previous local agents valuation was good and that my property would be sold in 3months at the latest. Being slightly naive I gave them sole selling rights for my property and took it away from the local agent. They told me that a professional photographer would come take pictures of my place which they never did, instead using very old and dated pictures, in fact I never met a single representative from the company in the 6 months, my viewings dropped to zero, I’m not lying, I had zero viewings in 6 months. I would get a text message every two weeks telling me how many times sombody brushed passed my house on the website and to stick by them as they worked on trying to sell my place. After 6 months of this nonsense and waiting to get out of the clause to let some serious people sell my house I am finally on the road to selling my place again. What a nightmare and what a waste of 6 months. Stay away from these guys, they will lead you on

Super helpful friendly staff - made buying our home so easy. Only knocked off a star as we had to go through sellers to get access - which was a little cumbersome. Overall very happy, thank you.

Easy to contact, polite and helpful staff. Alex was great and helped explain the buying process to me as I was helping my elderly father purchase a flat. Tara was also extremely helpful when we hit a few hurdles at the 11th hour. Thankyou to all the team, my Dad is happily settled in his fabulous new home.

My wife and I got the property we wanted with the help of British Homesellers. We were first time buyers but they made the process so simple and stress free. They answered many questions and assisted us in many ways from phone calls between us and the sellers, providing answers to relevant questions to us and our conveyancer and legal team and finally helping with the key and handover. They were immensely helpful and I would definitely recommend British Homesellers.

I recently purchased a property through BHS and was happy with the process. The only thing that slowed the process down was the sellers inability to inform her solicitors of a change of phone number.

Excellent service by British Homesellers and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Charles was instrumental in assisting us to achieve our goals and no query went unanswered.
Overall, very pleased indeed.

Excellent service. I chose British Homesellers because I wanted a quick sale and they did the option to sell directly to them . In the end I had so many viewings i ended up selling it the traditional way. British Homesellers listened to what I wanted and targeted the right people to come and view my house . The house sold very quickly. All the agents at British Homesellers were very friend and helpful and did a really good job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone .The only negative was the conveyors they recommended premier property lawyers. They were terrible and it took months to move because of their incompetence. British Homesellers need to change the solicitors they use or don’t recommend them

I had a good experience from British homer sellers, the account manager was very helpful and kept the chain of communication open. I would totally recommend BHS, my only negative would be the solicitors they recommended to the seller was shocking

We purchased our property through British Home Sellers who were outstanding throughout. Charles went above and beyond to help with communication and coordination throughout the chain. I honestly believe if Charles wasn't involved, it may have not had a happy ending! He was always reachable even outside of work ours and Charles is an absolute asset to the business. We would definitely use British Home Sellers on our next move.

Slick marketing by employees who sound professional & are very convincing. However, didn’t get a single viewing on our property in the 3 months with them. Had viewings with the agents we were with before these for a shorter time. Very disappointing.
We received a weekly ‘update’ from our assigned agent, mainly advising how many views we’d had online. (Information you can get from other sites). Surprise surprise their only tool to generate more interest was to reduce the price, just like any estate agent!
Worst of all, after giving 30 days notice, as in their terms of contract, we returned from a trip away on 23/12 to discover our property hadn’t been removed from the market. Despite emails & phone calls there was no reply from them as they had finished for Christmas. No doubt their excuse. What would have happened if we had broken the terms of the contract with them??!!
There are no ‘investors’ and this is just an estate agent by another name charging much higher fees.
Do yourself a favour and read the reviews carefully (the good ones are mainly buyers or people who’ve left them soon after initial contact with the company) then save yourself time & money & take your business to a local agent.

As a buyer the best part of the experience was dealing with Alex during the offer stage. He offered great guidance and advice and I felt like he treated both myself and the vendor as his customers. He was also helpful when I had queries and either answered them or pointed me in the right direction.

Overall a smooth experience of purchasing a property and we had no issues. Charles in particular was helpful, professional and always polite. Thank you.
