Good response time and was able to resolve the issue quickly

Great customer service, replied to my emails quickly and was very informative. They really know there products, even replied throughout the weekend when I was having some issues trying to hook it up.

I was having trouble down loading apps and a couple of other things as l am not up with these new units. Contacted Patric who was the most helpful person and explained how to do it. He was excellent and replied straight away and followed up to make sure l got things going. The service was outstanding and would recommend buying from this company without hesitation.

The customer support is second to none. Once you install and navigate the settings, the Brummstadt team are extremely prompt and helpful with guides and advice on adjustments. This alone is priceless and makes the product extremely good.
Installed unit on 2016 SRT and fitment was very straight forward.

I wanted a Brummstad head unit so I could use Apple Car and Apple Maps in my 2016 DM SantaFe Highlander. As this was optioned up I was particular to not want to lose any of the Highlander options, especially the awesome sound system. After a few delays with getting correct Canbus unit , the system is 100% working as promised. The trouble shooting staff at Brummstadt, especially Tommy and Kevin were extremely dedicated to my eventual success and complete satisfaction. All issues were respectfully resolved. I can thoroughly recommend these units and Brummstadt for their service.

Tommy was extremely helpful, helping me on more than one occasion with my dashcam. The head unit fits perfectly into my car, looking almost factory fitted and works perfectly. Definitely worth the money spent.

Setting up our unit required a lot of understanding to get everything working. Whilst it took us a few weeks to get everything working, this only occurred with the fantastic assistance from the guys at Brummstadt (Kevin & Tommy).
They never gave up on us, and were always there to help with their knowledge and links to YouTube assistance.
It is your continued assistance that puts you way above your competitiors.
As for the head unit, we are extremely happy we made the decision to go with Brummstadt.

2013 Prado GX, "Flagship" with all the extras.
After a lot of comparisons during the Black Friday sales, I settled on the oversized "Flagship" version from Brummstadt, added a bunch of extras and paid a premium price for what I expected would be a premium product. Sent the photo of the dash with my order as requested.

Received the Head Unit in good time and set about the installation process. I've done this before so it shouldn't be too hard. so I thought.

I even read the instructions before I started. Stripped my old unit out, which was a previous upgrade. Started running the cables for the extras such as GPS receiver, DABS receiver, 4G receiver, Mic, OBD2 Receiver, 4K Dash Cam... Plugging everything in with the extremely limited and poorly translated instructions. (Looks like it has been translated into Klingon by a drunk Romulan).

Parts of the old unit needs to be disassembled and inserted into the new one. I figured it out using videos from another popular model.

In brief, the oversized head unit covers half the AC Unit control, so you can't install the AC Controls once the Head Unit is installed. You also can't install the Head Unit once the AC Unit is installed. Tried prepositioning them together to install at the same time, and also fails.

The Hazard switch needs a cradle and an extension cable. Neither were supplied. Kevin keeps telling me I can just pop out the cut out on the other side and move it there, so I don't need an extension cable. This is not possible as the other side isn't cut out and there are no retaining clips to hold the cradle. They provide a video from another popular company showing the installation of a standard sized model, on a different model vehicle with a different sized hazard switch. They sent me this twice because they think this shows how to fix the problem. it doesn't.

I've sent them lots and lots of photos, videos and emails. But they don't seem to be paying attention. Ive asked for them to call, but nothing yet.

Testing the unit has had some problems. Bluetooth won't connect the OBD2 device and the WiFi starts, then switches itself off and reboots the device.

The microphone sound is very unclear also.

I am wholly unsatisfied with the build quality and service so far. I am not interested in modifying the device or my car to make it fit.

"Guaranteed fit or we will fix it"... What does this mean? Cause the only one trying to fix it is me.

"3 year warranty/30 day returns... What does this mean?

"Expert support for Aussie Drivers/7 days a week incl public holidays"... What does this mean?

I'm sure the standard size will fit nicely, but given the trouble I've had so far, I have no confidence in the product or the service/support.

At this point, I am seeking a full refund.

Had amazing help from Patrick from the very first question I had to the questions he answered after installation with a fast response. It was quite easy to install, looks fantastic! Partner very happy with it. Could not fault this company at all 5* in everyway, would definately recommend them & would buy from them again.

Partick was quick with a response to my queries and provided very good advice.

The back up for installation was a main factor I selected this product and it has been excellent. Tommy was my main contact. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable with his timely replies to issues that occurred. Also back up by other team members was always helpful. The head unit is now functioning well. It is so important to send photos to them when requested for their diagnosis.

I recently installed a new screen and fascia from Brummstadt in our Jeep. The unit works well overall and is a noticeable improvement on the factory setup.

There were some initial issues with the microphone and CarPlay, but with assistance from Tommy and Patrick these were resolved quickly. Their support was straightforward and effective.

The wireless CarPlay can be slow at times, particularly when two different phones are used in the vehicle. Using wired CarPlay has reduced most of these problems.

Overall, the product is functioning as expected and the installation process was supported well by the team

Patrick at Brummstadt was incredibly helpful in resolving the issues I was having with my CarPlay and microphone. He took the time to clearly explain what was going wrong, walked me through the options, and made sure everything was working properly before closing things off. His communication was prompt, professional and friendly throughout the whole process, which made the experience stress‑free.

Great store to buy a radio from as I upgraded my 2013 troopy .
Base model works great and as intended easy to set up you get everything as pictured for a good price, easy to install too. (Does use up phone data though that may be a user problem 😅)
What sets these guys apart is the absolute phenomenal customer service and products
I first had to get help with a setting I had accidentally disabled and needed help figuring out and they were quick at replying and very helpful
The second time I decided after having the head unit for a while to upgrade to the standard model to suit my needs better and Tommy in particular, has made the entire process of returning the base model and getting my current one super easy, no fuss . These guys go the extra mile to make sure you have all the information you need, it's easy to understand and are happy to help with any issues you have even small problems - 100% recommend and thankyou again to Tommy and the store for the fantastic help!

The response time from Patrick each time I've needed technical help has been great, with the information being spot on. Would definitely purchase form Brummstadt again.
