Used BTB twice in a short time to survey 2 houses. The first - a Level 3 survey at 77 pages long and thoroughly detailed - saved me from making a potentially disastrous purchase. The second, a level 2 survey but still at 69 pages - was also very thorough.
Marisa, the office manager was fabulous. Friendly, efficient and online to deal with queries at all times of the day and night, including weekends, although I did not expect any response out of office hours!
Not cheap but worth the money!

Marisa was so quick at replying, answered any questions we had and was just perfect in the organisation. The full structural survey report was so detailed and Michael was great in telling us everything we needed to know. We really can’t thank everyone enough!

I am so impressed with the service I received. The surveyor's report was very detailed and informative. The service both before and after the report was exceptional - I had lots of follow-up questions that typically would be outside the remit of a survey. However, in all these cases, Marisa was super accomodating and responsive.

The service offered was exceptionally professional, beginning from the quotation stage to the explanations provided. The response was swift. The report is incredibly detailed and informative, providing valuable insights into the property's condition. It has helped me understand the potential expenses I may need to cover after acquiring the property. Mike elaborated on each point highlighted in red, discussing the pros and cons. Consequently, I now feel more confident in my negotiations with property sellers.

Michael Booth's survey report was extremely helpful in our decision to halt our purchase on our first choice property and save us thousands of pounds. We employed him again with a much better outcome and we are almost through to completion. I have found this company to be very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Didn't actually do a full survey as advised couldn't get access to the attic, didn't tell/ask anyone about this until survey report was produced. Estate agents advised they had the key, subsequently sent pictures and videos of roof. No response. Chased and Chased. 6 weeks down the line, having to book another surveyor.

The response by the company below is a complete fabrication. I have a images and screenshots of the conversations, texts/emails. To cover thier incompetence, they decide to lie even further rather than apologise and offer some reimbursement. Completely untrustworthy company when I have the receipts, beyond shocked.

Buying a house is a massive expense/decision. Things can sometimes go wrong but to double down on failures not offer any solutions and then continue to lie is a massive red flag. AVOID PEOPLE!

Fantastic service and highly recommended. I request a Level 3 Building survey and I was very impressed.

The survey date was pencilled in within a few days of requesting and liaised directly with the Estate Agents.
