BT took payment for wifi service, but I couldn't gain any access, and had zero support.
A week ago, I needed to buy BT Wifi for 30 days.
The website wouldn't let me create an account using 3 different browsers on 3 different OSs and 3 different computers including Windows and iOS. I contacted support and had zero help.
Eventually, I managed by using a 4th browser to create an account, and had my credit card details taken, but I was then prevented from using the account. Again I lodged a complaint, and after going to the CEO, I was told there was a problem and they had created an account. I tried to use it on a Playstation, and a computer. but couldn't access the account. I asked for them to cancel the account and provide compensation/ reimburse me for such an awful experience that after a week, I couldn't use the wifi service AT ALL.
I am still waiting for a refund and any compensation.
Overall, an awful experience.
Since the above, I have been told that BT Wifi is not for home use; cannot be used for gaming, nor for web browsing, and not for email. None of this is clear from the website, and despite approaching the CEO, I have had no help.
Awful - stay well clear of BT.
