Terrible wrist band
Short charged time. No good at night when getting up for toilet.
That's when I am vulnerable..
As a result I frequently do not were my device.

Customer service was very good before, during and post purchase of the Buddi Connect wristband.
Unfortunately the product was purchased for my father and had 2 major design flaws. Firstly the wristband was much more difficult to put on than a normal watch as it is quite thin and fiddly. Secondly the charger unit is not easy to use as it is small and the wristband needs to be inserted and a clip brought across it. For people who do not have eyesight issues and who have nimble fingers these may not be issues, but most of the customers using this product will probably have varying age related issues and so we have returned the product.
A great shame as customer service was second to none.

My Buddi alarm was activated by mistake but it was very reassuring to get a phone call from Caroline to make sure all was well. I’ve not had to use it in a crisis but I’m now confident that if I did need to activate it i would be contacted and helped.

Although the initial outlay for the clip and the wristband is a little heavy (particularly at the moment) having this has given me peace of mind when out and about.
I have a 'Lifeline' system at home and knowing help is just the press of a button away when I am away from home is good to know. Fortunately I have not had to use it yet but on test calls the staff are always so friendly and on the couple of occasions that I have needed to contact customer service for questions etc they have always been so helpful.
I would recommend Buddi to those concerned about their health or mobility etc and this is not something that I often do.

Having had a Buddi emergency wristband for several years I was upset when it failed to charge. No problem said the Buddi lady as you are insured. We will send you a new wristband. The new one soon arrived and was connected. It is a much improved version. Thank you for an excellent service.

The unit itself is hard for any older person to trigger by hand. The unit doesn’t stay connected unless your very close and if you close the app by accident it doesn’t connect. Harder for older clients to understand or use.

Service and renewal of BUDDI was good and didn't take too long for which I was grateful.

The actual Buddi pendent device is a god send in helping to keeping my Dad safe. He has Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. So he can wander off if not watched, and I know if he does fall then the contact centre call try and speak to him through the device. Otherwise they can inform me to let me know or if I'm unavailable contact the emergency services and they have the relevant medical information to hand as it is filled in on the forms of the online web portal.
The customer service is second to none, which now days is a rare thing, and other customer service based companies can learn a lot from how the Buddi staff handle customer requests.

Excellent in-house service and attention to device charging. Prompt replacement of devices when required. Wearing the fall alarm and associated communicator gives me confidence and security when out in public thoroughfares.
