I have been double booked by mistake on the same airline, booking through BudgetAir.com. I now have two bookings for the same person (myself) on the same flight. My attempts for a refund have been unsuccessful and futile. I keep getting an automated message that says my refund request does not meet the airline's cancellation policies. This is frustrating as it seems obvious that one person cannot take up two seats. A simple mistake costing approx $1280. I will keep trying.

I wanted to cancel the booking within 24h and book the next day. The airlines has a free cancellation within 24h but they are charging me $77, and they are not allowing me to change the flight to the next day (I know there are available flights)! I won't use their service again.
Update after their canned response: it has 2 lies: i tried contacting their support and all I found was a bot so no one advised me of anything, and that they are 24/7: the bot transferred me to a human and my position was 1 for ages until I gave up.

I booked a trip very far out. I canceled my booking with two months left from the date of the flight so they can definitely find replacements for the seats and I was not able to get a refund. They don’t even give you points to try to apply it to another flight or future trip. This is disappointing because it was not a last-minute cancellation. I would understand if they were unable to fill those seats, but I am very confident that they had enough time to do so. So next time I wanna spend thousands of dollars to go on a flight I’m definitely not gonna use budget air. At least other airlines will offer some sort of points or make up for the fact that you spent so much money planning this trip. And life happens so I had to cancel.

This has been the worst customer experience of my life. Even though Frontier officially processed my refund, I have been waiting for my money for over 3 months now. I am still struggling to get it back. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and unresponsive.
Will I ever fly with them again? Never! Please do yourself a favor and book your flights through other websites, even if it costs more. Saving a few bucks is not worth this headache!

I booked a flight from Montreal to London Gatwick. Everything was confirmed. I made my plans, arranged time off work, packed my bags – and then 24 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE, I get an email:
"Your flight has been cancelled."
That was it. No alternative flight offered. No immediate refund processed. Just a cold email and £907 of my money – GONE in a second.
