My domestic flight cancelled and no aid sent when asked for flight change for international even though I was assured of a email for flight change request that never came, Iosing the cost of my entire flight.

Budget air double charged me for an airfare purchase which I am currently disputing with my credit card company. The original flight I purchased had been cancelled so I had to rebook and pay again for the flight. They never removed the first payment/ credit card charge and are attempting to double charge me for the same flight. I’d reconsider using them. They appear to be an unethical and fraudulent business.

This company is the worst online travel agency. As I checked flight prices on Google, several online travel agencies were offering the same fare for flights from US to France. Since I was traveling to Europe, I decided to purchase my ticket from BudgetAir, which claimed to be based in the Netherlands. However, right after booking, I realized that this was a serious mistake. After looking into it further, I discovered the company was actually in Mainland China. My reservation was processed by a 3rd party agency in China, and it took 48 hours for the e‑ticket to be issued. As I checked my JetBlue account, the traveler emergency contact contained a stranger’s China phone#, email address, and even 2 credit card numbers. I immediately contacted JetBlue to request the information be removed, but they told me to contact BudgetAir. BudgetAir refused to update the emergency contact info. I also purchased 2 aisle seats from BudgetAir—one for my connecting flight, and another for my flight from Boston to France. Each seat costed me $14. Because I have health issues, I specifically purchased aisle seats so I could go to the restroom without bothering other passengers. However, the seat I paid for on the Boston‑to‑France flight is not an aisle seat; instead, I am assigned a middle seat in a row of six. After repeatedly calling JetBlue and BudgetAir to file complaints, BudgetAir finally told me how I could update the traveler emergency contact information in my JetBlue account with my own phone# and email address. I'm currently waiting for JetBlue to respond. Even now, despite having paid for the seat, my Boston‑to‑France seat still remains a middle seat, and there is still no confirmation of when my aisle seat will be secured. Normally, seat assignments should be completed within 1hr of purchase. And today (July 18), when I checked my JetBlue account, the fee to change seats is listed as a minimum of $34, even though it was a minimum of $9 yesterday (July 17). After I made a numerous contacts to both Budgetair and JetBlue, finally JetBlue secured the isle seat for me on July 19. Also to my surprise, JetBlue informed me that the JetBlue flight I purchased on Budgetair online was booked by a stranger who was neither travel agency nor travel agent and this individual forwarding me email he/she gets from JetBlue. I feel this is a security breach and privacy invasion.

I liked the process and filling out the form simple and straight forward to book the flights. I was surprised to receive the e-ticket within 30-minutes! Super expedient! 👍
