I had one tradie come out to look at my job but the quote was so high, I thought I better get a few more, but after 3 other tradies saying they were all busy or unavailable, went back to BC (have used them before) and had 3 tradies reply within half an hour and 2 come out that day. Got some good quotes, accepted one and had the job underway within a week,

My first time on Builderscrack and I had a contact the next day. The whole experience is simple to negotiate through and will come back again.

As a tradie, this platform offers little to no value. The token system is outdated and unfair—you’re paying for leads that often never respond or withdraw, and multiple tradies are charged for the same job. It’s a lose-lose situation.

Lead volume has dropped significantly, and the few leads that do come through are generally low-quality or price-driven jobs that aren’t worth quoting on. For the cost, the return just isn’t there. We have tokens expiring today however there is nothing to chase.

We’re using other platforms that deliver better-quality leads at a much lower price. This service might have worked once, but it’s no longer a good option for tradies looking to grow their business.

We've tried contacting Builderscrack to discuss, there is no online phone number (the number that does come up is for an insurance broker), I had a number for a sales rep from an old email, left a VM and he has not returned my call.

Doubt all tradies read the post carefully, as I had a reply within seconds of posting from someone unsuitable. Due diligence is still required before committing.
