He has returned all emails promptly and kept me fully informed as to the procedure and expected outcomes. Each report I've requested has been completed in a timely manner and I was made fully aware of expected costs and time frames. Engaging Buildspect has removed some of the stress from the complex and unpleasant experience of dealing with the builder and lawyers. I have been very impressed with the service I've received.

The report requested was provided in a timely manner. When I had questions about the report Nich was accommodating and able to deal with those questions with relative ease.

My partner and I retained Buildspect to undertake final inspection of our newly built property. From our initial contact with Buildspect, we knew we had made the right choice - they promptly allocated an appropriate consultant to undertake the inspection, liaised with us regularly in preparation for the inspection and were more than happy to work around the Builder’s inspection date/time requirements.
The fee for the inspection and preparation of the defects report was very competitive and the work that the consultant undertook more than justified the fee charged.
Daniel Holt, the consultant that was allocated to us was an absolute delight to deal with! He is highly knowledgeable, extremely thorough in identifying all works not carried out in accordance with the Building Contract documentation, efficient, friendly and very easy to deal with. He took time to listen to our concerns, explained the nature and gravity of the defects he identified, answered all our queries in relation to the identified defects and gave us invaluable advice and guidance on how those defects could and ought to be rectified. He had very limited time to prepare his report which was quite lengthy and yet he delivered it ahead of the deadline for us to review and discuss with him prior to it being delivered to the Builder. He has even agreed, at our request, to remain involved, in his capacity as our consultant and adviser, to advise and guide us during the rectification process and to inspect the rectification works once completed to ensure that at handover all building works are completed in accordance with the Building Contract.

I used Nick W of Buildpect to conduct an inspection of a house which was experiencing mould from an unknown source. Nick quickly identified an issue with the windows and cladding which was leading to water ingress to the internal cavities of the house, causing the mould. Nick's report was fast, thorough and independent.

We have found Buildspect to be very professional to work with. We have been engaged with them for over 9 years and have never had any issues in our business relationship. We would highly recommend them. BM Online - NetSuite Solution Provider.

Buildspect did not deliver and also did not honour their contract. Buildspect were paid several thousand dollars to oversee works, but they were ineffective. We still have a leaky, mouldy roof. When we approached Buildspect to remediate this issue, they claimed it was "outside of the contract".
I will never use Buildspect again and suggest others steer clear.
