I got sent 5kg of rancid protein and when I informed Bulk they just sent me a generic reply from someone named Anjali (probably ai generated) that they cannot offer a refund, even for the unopened bag as there was two 2.5kg bags. Absolutely disgusting thieving scamming company would recommend to stay away at all costs. A very harsh £90 lesson.

I can handle whey powder's taste from this product. Which was good thing
I always hate the taste of protein powder but the mint chocolate is bearable for me. I also mix it with greek yoghurt and fruits.

Mouldy porridge mix?
I've bought a few products from Bulk and have been happy with most of them (the 4 seed peanut butter is great, their whey protein powders are fine although I've recently tried a different brand and found it much creamier, so will be switching to that going forward).
I recently tried their golden syrup protein porridge. The flavour isn't great (it's very sweet and tastes strongly of sweetener) but I thought I could probably get through the rest of the bag by mixing banana or blueberries into it to hide the flavour.
However, several mouthfuls in the portion I had tasted strongly of mould, which has made me nervous to eat any more. Customer service said there was nothing they could do because I'd already opened and tried the product.

Subpar products and bad customer service
Sent me subpar products with misleading information. I got powder that was close to the expiration date without any information beforehand and no price adjustment. Refused to let me send it back. Can not finish it before it's expired. Have not had any similar issues with other companies when they accidentally send me old products or when I have complaints.
Their peanut butter tastes bad and is not even organic.
Avoid this company.
