The Pork Bao is, All sugar, no meat, really not good.
I’m sorry but I don’t know how you can justify putting that much sickly sweet sugar into a meat product. They taste sweeter than a bag of Skittles. The texture of the bao/bread part is actually near perfect, but you ruin it by making it horribly sugary. The bun’s filling seems to be more sugar than meat. There are just a few tiny little cubes of SWEET meat covered in more sugary, sweet, jam-stuff in the centre. Really unpleasant.
The remaining 4 were thrown in the bin in the end, and I absolutely hate having to throw away food, especially when it’s so overpriced in the first place.

Fantastic bao buns
Fantastic bao buns, delicious and easy to cook. Delivery was quick, and makes for a no fuss dinner. Tried the pork and the beef, and both lovely. Would use again.

This was my first experience of Bao buns. As such the ordering and delivery was easy and excellent. The buns were very tasty and the steaming instructions were absolutely spot on. My only disappointment was how thick the buns were - this did not detract from the flavours inside but made them difficult to eat.

Amazing buns
I’ve ordered from Bun-dles a few times now, and they never seem to disappoint. They come frozen and go straight into the freezer. I have them saved for a weekend treat or a quick family meal on a weeknight when cooking is a chore. We had recently the black pepper pork and beef rendang and both were delicious, and the salt custard lava goes down well with the kids.

Delicious pork bao but disapppointing desserts
We really enjoyed the Black Pepper Pork Bao (delicious!) but the Salted Custard Lava Bao and Matcha White Chocolate Lava Bao were a bit too sweet and the fillings were not gooey lava they were just liquid which ran out onto the plate immediately so we were disappointed as they sounded so nice.

Disappointed with the product, service was adequate.
The buns were delivered when they were supposed to and well packed, but unfortunately the products just aren't that good.
I ordered the variety bundle and none of the flavours were very good - they're all missing a bit of oomph. Can't have a Thai green curry or Rendang with no spice!
The desert ones were the most disappointing of the lot - the fillings were a watery mess after steaming them in a bamboo steamer as directed.
I had high hopes as I love traditional Chinese bao but definitely won't be buying again.

Excellent product, a real treat
Excellent comms, pre-delivery. Very well packaged, so easy to heat up and even easier to eat and enjoy! Delicious buns, beautiful to the eye and easy on the tummy. It would be great if there were seafood and more veggie options.
