RUN AWAY

This place is a scam.

I'm convinced that the only positive reviews here are fake.

Because this was a truly atrocious experience. They were one week late for the order I've placed. On the day of the supposed delivery, they said that she wasn't home, but that was clearly a lie because she was and they didn't even bother calling her, and not only that, when my partner received the order, it looked absolutely nothing like it did in the picture.

Please for the love of God don't give these people your money, I was scammed.

We always strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. When our delivery team was unable to complete the delivery on the scheduled date due to the recipient’s unavailability, we shared the delivery team’s contact details with you and requested that you ask the recipient to get in touch. However, this was not done.

After two days, we were able to establish contact with the recipient and arranged the delivery as per their instructions at a different address. Due to the delay, we replaced the cake item to ensure freshness and have already refunded the cake price as a gesture of goodwill.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please note that the delay occurred due to circumstances beyond our control.

Worst Experience & Possibly Fraudulent

Stay FAR Away – Worst Experience & Possibly Fraudulent

I had one of the most frustrating experiences with this company and strongly urge others not to order from them. I placed an order well in advance for a time-sensitive occasion, and it was never delivered—despite them claiming otherwise.

They blamed the recipient for not being home, which was completely false. We tried contacting the delivery team over 10 times, and they never answered. Meanwhile, the company refused to take accountability or offer a refund, even after multiple failed delivery attempts and no successful coordination with the recipient.

They pushed all responsibility onto the customer and ignored the fact that their own shipping partner was unreachable and unprofessional. The birthday has passed, the item never arrived, and I was left disappointed, out of money, and with zero resolution.

This business is disorganized, untrustworthy, and completely lacks customer support. Do not waste your money or time

Terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Terrible.

This company had several days between when they received the address I submitted with my
Order to the date it was delivered. The delivery date was supposed to be Oct 8, which is what the website said when I booked it and what the confirmation email said. Then this company later emailed and said it would take a day longer which meant that the recipient would not get it on their birthday, but instead a day late. It was then too late for me to go anywhere else.

Then, the afternoon of their new delivery date, I received two emails saying I needed to contact t the delivery company. First, my time zone is opposite of Japan’s, but luckily I was still awake and got their email.

This company also had the phone number of the recipient, and the reason you provide that when you order is so that if there is a problem delivering it, that they can reach the recipient for directions.

But they didn’t try to contact the recipient, saying to me that they don’t want to ruin the surprise. So instead they don’t call me, they emailed me in the middle of the night and asked me to contact the recipient so the recipient can call the shipping company.

Right, for something that is a surprise, that will really keep it a surprise if I ask them to call a shipping company to tell them their address for a package they have no idea they are supposed to receive.

This company said their shipping company couldn’t find the address even though I found it on Google when they said they couldn’t find it, plus I was just at the address a couple of weeks earlier and had sent multiple packages to that address previously - it is the residence of my partner’s parents.

The phone numbers they gave me would not connect from me in Canada, so the company told me that they don’t accept international calls and to ask the recipient to call the shipping company.

Then they sent me an email and said I provided a wrong address, with one word misspelled. So I checked the confirmation email and I didn’t make a mistake. They either made a mistake on their end or they purposely changed a letter in order to try to blame me, but either way the confirmation email was 100% correct.

As this company was emailing me and trying to blame me, what they didn’t realize was that the delivery was actually successful. As soon as I told them this, they tried to take credit for it as though they had not done anything wrong and the entire conversation we just had didn’t happen. They had the nerve to ask me to remove my review from this website, I told them no way, I stand behind every word. They still insisted so now I have made this review much more detailed, longer, with even more truth & info than the first one I wrote.

Let this be a lesson… don’t use this company! They will try to tell you that you provided incorrect information when you didn’t. They will go back and forth getting nowhere, and they will tell you to get the person receiving the package as a surprise, to call the shipping company to help get the package delivered.

Also, when they tried to tell me the address was wrong, I sent them a Google Maps screenshot with directions from the local airport to the final destination, so at least they would have some reference points to the delivery address, and that still wasn’t good enough. They tried to say that the address I was providing was not correct still.

This company lies and tries to blame the customer and then says they didn’t say something that they did. I have all of the emails to stand behind every word I wrote here, so I reject their response emphatically.

Here is an example of their lies:
Notice how they say they were unable to reach the recipient when they called (they didn’t call, but that’s not the point).

Then notice where they say “Since the recipient is best placed to clarify any address-related concerns, their direct communication was necessary to resolve the situation efficiently.”

So the delivery company had actually delivered the order, but bunchesbaskets was still arguing with me that I had not provided the correct address. They were unaware that it was already delivered.

The address I provided was entirely correct, and clearly it was NOT “necessary to resolve the situation efficiently” by speaking with the recipient since it was delivered without speaking to the recipient and at the address I provided.

They just make up whatever information suits them, but it isn’t true. As you can tell from the ridiculousness of the back and forth here, it truly is not worth your time, money or frustration to use this company.

ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF JAPAN, you should choose a different company that doesn’t play so many games, tells the truth, and has normal customer service resolution policies and procedures. WHAT A JOKE!

They can yick yack all they want on here, don’t believe them. You will be glad you went elsewhere.

We are unsure why incorrect information is being shared to mislead others. The scheduled delivery date was March 9th, not March 8th, and we successfully delivered the order on March 9th as promised at 14:15.

As this was a birthday surprise gift, we followed our standard policy of not contacting the recipient before delivery to maintain the element of surprise. We only confirm the recipient’s address beforehand if explicitly requested by the sender.

On March 9th at 09:13 AM, Yamato—Japan’s leading delivery service—faced difficulty locating the recipient at the provided address. They attempted to reach the recipient via phone but were unsuccessful.

As soon as we were informed of the issue, we immediately shared the tracking details and Yamato's delivery team contact number with you and requested that the recipient reach out to the delivery team. Since the recipient is best placed to clarify any address-related concerns, their direct communication was necessary to resolve the situation efficiently. However, we did not receive cooperation in this regard from your end.

Yamato, known for its reliable and customer-friendly service, took additional steps to resolve the issue on its end. They successfully located the recipient and completed the delivery at 14:15 on the same day.

We always aim for a smooth and hassle-free gifting experience. We kindly encourage customers to assist in communication when needed to ensure timely delivery, especially in cases where the delivery team faces any address issue.

SCAM

SCAM! What I ordered vs. what was delivered was completely different and cheap-looking. They first offered a partial refund, then denied any issue. False advertising & terrible service—don’t buy
