Terrible customer service

I returned a jumper on 19th December, still no refund. Unable to contact Burtons due to limited contact information for customer services. I don't have a Facebook account or an Outlook email address so how am I supposed to complain???!!! I would give minus stars if I could. It seems Burtons are happy to take your money but doesn't want to return it when something goes wrong.

I ordered a 3 piece suit and recieved a…

I ordered a 3 piece suit and recieved a completely different blazer, although I ordered every item matching. The blazer was a completely different item and not the one I purchased. I contacted customer services but have had no response. As I needed the full 3 piece suit as I'm the Groosmen, I have had to re-orderr the correct blazer again in the hope I'll recieve it
soon. I'm on edge awaiting the new delivery, in the hope that the same mistake isn't repeated. The price I paid has increased slightly but that is a minor issue. I returned the original blazer I recieved back and am awaiting a refund for that item.

I am leaving you the details here to redeem yourself and put this right. I promise to delete the bad review if this is rectified and I get all this sorted.

Ordered 3 items which were delivered…

Ordered 3 items which were delivered through my unlimited delivery scheme. 1 item totally incorrect, 1 kept and the other returned with incorrect item.
1.pair of jeans were refunded but they had deducted £1.99 returns fee from the refund. I have had to constantly chase for this to be refunded as well as the other item. They kept saying the refund had failed, when I asked for a.cheque to be sent out they then actually started investigating. Taken far to long to get a refund and endless tweets, emails. I will not be buying off them again. Its far.to time consuming.

Product not delivered - No refund

I have ordered a suit and that was never delivered to me, And there was no refund issued for that. Also, There's nothing like next-day delivery. They charge you an extra 10£ by fooling you for next-day delivery which would never happen

Still awaiting refund

I placed an order for three pairs of jeans. One pair did not fit so I generated a return. Printed the label and returned. The returns package was received on 7th June 2022 (tracked by Royal Mail). I have yet to receive my refund. It is impossible to contact the company - there is no phone number, no email address on their website or Twitter handle.

Garbage Avoid

Terrible service received by my son who ordered a three piece suit for a wedding he is attending. Order turns up next day great, trousers and two waistcoats no jacket, not great . Contact Cs and arrange to return a waistcoat and reordered jacket which arrived next day , great , jacket still had security tag attached not a great look at all. Contact Cs again arrange to return jacket and get replacement ASAP as wedding is a fortnight away then received email stating that the jacket was returned into stock and then sold to someone else and are now sold out . So now left with a pair of trousers and a waistcoat with no hope of getting the matching jacket. Let's see how good they are at refunding, I'll not be holding my breath judging by the previous comments on here . Diabolical a company to avoid at all costs.

If i could give minus a gazillion stars i would.
I placed an order in August and some items were missing and others didn't fit so i sent them back.
I got a partial refund so i complained and my answer is .... we gave you two separate refunds?? Err why two??
You know full well you didn't give me two separate refunds, it was only one and that wasn't even half of what you owe me.
You blamed my bank and then you blamed PayPal,
Your customer services keep telling me you have given me different amounts each time i get in touch.
You know what your doing ..... you are stealing peoples money and you still have mine.
Burton and Dorothy Perkins are doing the same thing to customers by not giving them correct refunds and withholding money they owe.
Absolutely disgusting for what used to be a great place to shop for my boys.

UNETHICAL & HIGH RISK ORDERING

Order was placed on 24th August and payment was taken immediately. Then I got an email on 28th Aug from email id that was SUSPICIOUS - very odd I felt and became more alert

We just wanted to get in touch to let you know that we have refunded you for a purchase that you made between 17th-24th August.

It looks like there was a technical error that affected a small number of customers at the point of checkout where your order wasn’t completed successfully, but your payment was taken. Your refund for this has been processed and will appear in the account you used to pay within 24 hours (PayPal) or up to 5 days (Debit/credit). If you have any questions once these timescales have passed please reach out to our Customer Service team who will be happy to help.

We are really sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, the technical issue has been identified and fixed to ensure that this doesn’t happen again."

No explanation at all what the "technical error" was as there was no indication at the time of ordering.
There is NO customer service telephone .... after 7days, no sign of my refund....I initiated their WhatsApp chat only to get alarmed by the details required from my Credit Card etc. I had provided my order number and email address they requested for them to look into but never expected details about my CrCard !!! I was very concerned and emailed their customer service. I just got a reply after 3 days and it said that the WhatApp chat was legit!!!!!

I won't believe anything until my money is returned in full and quickly now. I will update the status as soon as I have sight of my refund. Until such time, NO MORE ORDERS and will BOO to BOOHOO and all their brands.

I can only alert others to my experience. Also - Interestingly all the reviews (bar 4) have been removed from Trustpilot. There were several negative reviews when I checked last week. So come on Trustpilot what is going on ?????

Customer service is terrible

I received notification via email of thank you for your order which stated completely different prices to what I actually paid and they argued about it when I challenged them so sent everything back. I have had a few good things sent out but it's not like it used to be when Arcadia owned them

Don’t refund and customer service is poor!! AVOID!!!!

17/08/21 - I have today had an email from Jade in customer services to say that my refund can’t be processed even though they instructed me to cancel the claim with PayPal so they could process. PayPal have taken pity and have refunded me themselves and will place a marker against PayPal. I suggest others do the same with PayPal or Credit card company and do NOT cancel the dispute. This company has messed me around a lot and have basically withheld my money which I call fraud or theft, I can’t make my mind up.
