I left this terrible telecoms provider on 23rd June. I’ve had a lot of history with them in their previous guises of XLN and Daisy. Naturally I cancelled my direct debit as my account was paid unt... See more

You have been warned.
I Joined from 3 Mobile on a business contract for three mobile numbers. One number was not set up correctly when it was ported from 3 Mobile. No calls in unless from another O2 line, no SMS messages being received. (Research suggests this is not uncommon).
Reported to CS, need a new SIM, new SIM fitted, same issues. Told CS I need it to be sent to the 2nd line tech. They agreed, and then told me it will take up to 10 days! What level of Customer Service is that, especially on a business contract?
I have tried everything to get the problem resolved, including a complaint. That takes up to 28 days to get processed!
In short, once you have signed up, (a very efficient and helpful service), O2 stop caring about you or the service that you have purchased. By comparison, Vodafone tell me their SLA on faults for business customers is the next day. Guess where I am going!!!
So, my advice is, don't sign up with O2 Business. The service is not fit for purpose, and they just don't care!
O2 Business Support is extremely poor. We had no service for 8 days, I could not make or receive calls, and could only access emails or internet if connected to our Wi-Fi. This had a severe impact on our business, especially as I travel for work. We called the support desk every day, we visited 2 different stores and still no one could resolve the issue.
I was disappointed to learn that stores can no longer support business customers, and none of their social media channels can assist either. Managers do not return calls and the technical team can take up to 10 days to deal with your issue. I find this service appalling and have submitted a complaint.
Customer Support that's a joke avoid O2 if you are thinking of moving your business mobile account over to them
Terrible customer service. it took me 2 hours just to request an eSim.
Switched from Vodafone to O2 Business and I have been on the phone with O2 for the last 5 weeks trying to fix the fact that I'm not receiving text messages. I have called 12-15 times by now, to each time hear the same broken record. Been told several times I would be called back by technicians and supervisors, which hasn't happened once.
This is affecting severely my business, not to mention the waste of time on the phone, up to 2 hours at one time.
Looking for legal advice to get compensation for caused loss of business.
Filed a complaint 2 weeks ago, still waiting to hear back.
Dreadful.
Don't use this is you want to go abroad, not only does it take an extremely complex call to customer support to even activate roaming bolt on, it's then £7.50 per day for 500mb data.
Utterly inept and useless as with absolutely everything to do with this pitiful and inept company. I hope the entire company goes bust and everyone that works there runs out of hot water when next in the shower AFTER they have lathered their hair. Seriously, they are at the absolute apex of everything that is wrong with corporate outsourced tech led useless customer service.
I echo the bad reviews.
I have been trying to have 02 Business address a complaint in writing relating to interruption in sev ice since November 2024 to no avail. They simply email and say it has been resolved when it has not. They give you an email address to write to that relates to the personal account and not business and then say that they will pass it to business and do not.
Today, I had a call handler from somewhere in Asia tell me that he was going to transfer me to the correct dept and he would explain the problem and when the call was picked up, he had simply dumped the number into the technical team. It is getting to the stage that I might as well issue proceedings. At least then they might wake up. This poor customer service is everything that is wrong with the UK now. Cutting costs and screwing the customers.
PS - I have found that every time you write to O2, they start up a fresh complaint number. It seems to be absolutely chaotic there and it is no wonder that they are in disarray.
absolutely appalling customer service and complete rip off. Took 6 months to close account, while still overcharging. 100% recommend do NOT use
Appalling..
