I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but as a returning customer who has made many purchases from this company, each experience recently has been worse than the last and I am beyond disappointed with the customer service. I really like these products; as a rescue, they make things much cleaner and easier for us and the animals in our care, but I have had a problem in some shape or form with every single one of my last few orders. Either components of the bottle holders have been missing, the dispatch date was very late and I had to reach out for updates, or in this most recent case, I’m without my order for over three weeks now and what long-awaited communication I’ve received from the company since reaching out on the 18th and twice since then in the last week, has not reassured me there will be a solution where I will ever receive this order. It seems things have really changed since I first started ordering from them and I’d be very reluctant to ever order again knowing I’m paying a lot of money for products that either don’t arrive or I’ll be anticipating some sort of issue with the dispatch and delivery. It’s a shame, as I want to continue using their products, but it’s become unreliable, stressful and time consuming trying to rectify issues that shouldn’t occur as frequently as they do. Extremely disappointing direction for this business. They’ve really let me down.
I bought a water holder for my guinea…
I bought a water holder for my guinea pigs cage. I paid for express delivery. It didn’t turn up for a week and a half. And then when it arrived, half of the order was missing. They take days and days and days to even respond to any emails I’ve sent them will never be buying from them again.
Perfect Bottle Holders
I am delighted with my purchase of two water bottle holders. They are very well made and perfect for my daughters to easily help with changing the water for our rabbits without worrying where to place/secure the bottles with the wire. The holders make it very simple to slot the water bottles in and out place and snug enough too that our rabbits can’t pull them out. They did take a little longer to be delivered than expected but this is due to the courier. Other than that I would certainly buy again if needed.
Too long to dispatch item
The hay rack I ordered was fine no issues. But the length of time for buttercup pet products to dispatch it was unreasonable and well beyond their website stated timings. I emailed to chase it up and never got a response. Not sure how likely I’d be to order again now based of this.
(It took 9 working days to dispatch it, I was waiting just over 2 weeks from purchase)

Great idea
Great idea, although the sticky pad supplied isn’t strong enough to hold the water bottle. Lasted 24 hours and I noticed it coming off. Replaced it with some elf tape and now it’s perfect. Thank you

Don't get me wrong with 3 stars, I love the concept of the product but I have bought quite a few of these and I feel they need to be sturdier, they break/perish quickly and I just feel for the price they shouldn't be breaking as often and I have to take care when removing and putting back onto cage.
However if this new one breaks quickly i will be getting in touch regarding a replacement or refund.

Really high quality products that are also very useful indeed! Clearly made by people who own pets! They arrived really quickly too and the bottle holders we've got have made cleaning so much easier! (And I don't get my t shirt caught on wires anymore!)

Order 4866 - No delivery, no refund, no communications
I ordered a Hay Rack in Pastel Purple on 8th December, which still has not been dispatched according to the tracking (order 4866). I have since emailed (via the online contact form) to request an update, but have yet to receive a response. It seems my only option is to ask for a recharge via Paypal and my bank (because the payment had to be split into two transactions due to a website glitch), but I would much prefer to actually receive the hay rack, which I still need. If anyone is monitoring this feedback, please can you resolve this please?
Update 20th January (!) - seller responded with the following email below on Jan 13th - it's now Jan 20th, and guess what, still no hay rack.I'm officially now giving up and requesting a charge back.
"First of all we would like to apologise for the huge delay in getting back to you, but we have sorted this issue out.
We have been in contact with Evri as on top of all of the other issues we experienced, we had 17 parcels go missing over the past few weeks. It turns out every single one was in the same batch collected by Evri.
This is to say they have definitely been lost, as Evri cannot locate them past the collection stage.
What we are going to do is send out your parcel again, but with two hay racks instead of one, as an apology for the very poor service you have received from us recently.
As a small business we pride ourselves on service, and this time we have truly failed.
We shall get on it today now we have confirmation from Evri about the parcel being lost and get the hay racks on their way to you tomorrow.
