Ad came up on Facebook for 90 Andrex toilet rolls for £9.99. When I followed the link and thought I had purchased them (final confirmation screen said transaction would appear as tophobbyland), I received an email from Tophobbyland saying I'd subscribed to some kind of loyalty programme which I didnt sign up to. Immediately cancelled whatever I'd "subscribed to" an hour later, even receiving an email confirming the cancellation yet the robbing b*stards still took a further £37.36 from my bank account today. Their website is completely the same as buyhomedecor who also took £9.95 from me the same day I thought I bought the toilet rolls and took a further "subscription payment" of £38.75 from my account yesterday.

Upon checking my Tophobbyland account this evening, my cancellation request has been cancelled and my account is showing as active again.

These people are nothing but scammers. When I tried seeking help via the comments section of the Facebook ad, my comments were swiftly deleted (1st red flag) and this evening the ad no longer exists (whereas it did only a few hours ago!!)

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

My bank have now blocked further payments from both of these "websites" and I have had to start a dispute against both of them to try and get my money back.

Both TOPHOBBYLAND and BUYDECORHOME are both operating fraudulently. Please stay away.

Complete scam. I made a purchase through this website and they stored my card details. They have attempted to take payments late at night but thankfully my bank requires approval for online purchases. I have contacted them to get a refund for what I bought and to remove my card details, no surprise they don’t reply !!!
