Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent company to deal with. They paid the full amount quoted for my phone and kept me updated by text and email. Louis (or Louie) was very helpful when I called customer service. The bank holiday slowed things up a bit but all in all top marks + best price!
Avoid
Purchased a refurbished phone. Phone broke within 2 weeks. Sent the phone back for a fix/replacement. Company has claimed I caused water damage when the phone had not been anywhere near water. Company clearly selling damaged phones. Avoid, company is running a scam.
Quick, efficient process for selling my phone
I had a phone that was in good condition and I wanted to sell it. I was offered £80 initially, and thought I would try it (as I was advised if they changed the offer, you would be notified and get the phone returned to you). They send very good packaging to send via Royal Mail 48hr tracked. After sending they were good at communicating when they had received and when they had processed the checks etc. After reviewing my phone, the offer was reduced to £60 due to needing a new battery and some scratches etc (offer was still higher than O2 were going to give me).
I accepted the offer at 1pm and had received the payment to my PayPal by around 6pm the same day.

Bought a phone through BackMarket which i have had good experiences with. They havent even shipped my phone yet and are providing no updates. I have sent queries multiple times to no avail.
Horrrible company AVOID.
I wish I'd read the reviews
I wish I'd read the reviews. Buyur are dreadful in every way. I've been asking for a refund on a faulty phone for weeks. They finally sent it to me today after I threatened them with small claims court. I ordered a phone from them on 26th May and they sent me the same faulty phone twice. It wouldn't even switch on! Honestly, the worst company I've ever dealt with.
Falsely Advertised Free Insurance...rectified after complaint to Trading Standards
Added review here as they also use the domain: ur.co.uk
Bought a phone for my son that was advertised in multiple places as having 12 months Free insurance (not warranty, insurance).
Did not receive any notification of the insurance within a couple of weeks, so I emailed them and was told that they no longer offered the insurance.
I have written a complaint to them, as it was a big reason why I purchased the phone from them. No reply from the complaint.
Therefore, I have written to Trading Standards as this is a breach of Unfair Trading Regulations and I have vowed to write bad reviews on here and Trust Pilot.
UPDATE - 25/07/24
This morning I received an email advising that I have 12 months worth of insurance provided by Bastion Insurance. This was following my email to customer services and review on TrustPilot.
I received follow up communication from Kimberley, who I presume resolved my issue, for which I am thankful. Someone within the company could see what had gone wrong and fixed it.
Kimberley also pledged to remove all references regarding free insurance on their website and from an initial check on the website this appears to have happened.
Therefore, I have amended my review to reflect my original experience and the experience I have had up to today, I have amended from 1 star to 3 stars on this basis.

Purchased an iphone for my daughter and it was described as in excellent condition. upon receipt, with no iphone box, switch it on, iphone pop up says battery is not a geniune apple iphone product, so it dies very quickly. Apple note that it needs replacing with a genuine iphone battery. i've asked to resend for a refund but no response, so i'll have to take other steps for redress. v poor and strongly recommend to stay clear to avoid heartbreak as my daughter can testify to. Just try calling their number, no one ever picks up. Should have read the trustpilot reviews before i purchased. Anyways what goes around comes around. One for bbc rogue traders.

Excellent service first time I have used them and I’m impressed very quick if you have a phone to sell use them.
Avoid this company
Bought a iPhone 11pro via back market. Turned up still locked to EE and with a non genuine battery. Returns process deliberately difficult so have bitten the bullet and paid to get it unlocked as I need to use it.
Avoid like the HIV
I would avoid this company like the HIV. Purchased a phone that came with a defective battery. Within days the battery had swelled pushing the back of the glass off the phone. I wouldn't purchase nothing from this company again.
Sent my iPhone Royal Mail next day…
Sent my iPhone Royal Mail next day guaranteed. Delivered by Royal Mail and signed for at UR with photo.
UR deny all knowledge of receiving my phone and keep trying to bounce me off to Royal Mail.
Finally UR offered to pay me the quoted price, but 2 weeks later still waiting to receive a refund.
Tried phoning their Customer Support number but they don’t answer.
Eventually managed to get through by phone to be informed they have now decided not to pay for my iPhone, without bothering to inform me.
Appalling conduct.
Avoid.

Ive emailed them twice regarding this and got no reply
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Terrible company
Terrible company. Don’t honour their prices. Making false statements to reduce the price of the phone I am willing to sell to them. Waste of time.
Awful seller on Amazon
Awful seller on Amazon! Do not trust this company to provide any kind of communication or a refund for sending a product which became faulty after 3 months! Once they have your money that's it. Do not use or trust this company. Scammers.
70 days and still no money for trade In
Sold a phone to this company 10 December 2023.it is now 20 February 2024 and no money as it was lost in post.Company said has lodged complaint with post office but surely this should not take seventy days
I am going to give Buyur a four star…
I am going to give Buyur a four star review even though I had a shaky start with them.
I bought a refurbed phone through Backmarket, the actual phone I purchased came from Buyur as a third party seller.
I received the phone locked (purchased unlocked) and must admit after reading the reviews I was thinking the worst.
However, you can contact customer service by telephone and they were really helpful. They got the issue resolved and were very communicative through the process. This is why I am giving the 4 star review, mistakes happen, it is how you are treating through resolution that means the most to me. Thanks Buyur
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Bought a "refurbished" phone from this company which failed a few months later. They refused to honour the warranty. They made some completely invented claims that the failure must have been due to the phone being dropped and that a few minor scratches on the back of the phone was evidence of this, despite there being no significant damage to the phone body or screen.
Take the negative reviews with a pinch…
Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.
I found Buyur through a comparison site. They offered circa 40% more than everyone else for a trade in of my old Pixel 6.
The phone has pretty much lived in a case since I got it, but still showed some signs of wear and tear.
After sending it off in the packaging that they posted out, I started seeing negative reviews for them, including horror stories about being offered £10 for a £240 phone etc.
I assumed that their offer price would probably be reduced, but would base my acceptance of it on whatever feedback they offered.
However, today I received confirmation that the full amount would be sent, and have received said amount in my bank.
Can't fault these guys, and will definitely consider them the next time I upgrade.
£10 offer for what was meant to be £240
I sent my Samsung s21 ultra 5g after online being told it was worth just over £240.
Sent it off in the original boxing, to be told it has ever so slight screen burn, which isn’t my fault. So Buyur reduced my offer to £10, which has happened to plenty before me, just see below!!!
I’ve got the phone back in their packaging. Same condition, and shock, no screen burn to the device.
Going to cash converters to sell it as I’m not being fobbed off.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, bought an item off this seller through Amazon. They used Royal Mail to post the item. Did not receive anything. Royal Mail left the item outside. Now it is the sellers liability to refund me. However the is not refunding me. Look at all the reviews on google reviews, trust pilot and Amazon reviews! AVOID PLEASE
