I ordered 3 items in the Black Friday sale, I got an email 45 minutes prior to the sale to say the sale had now started so I went and purchased the items.

I didn’t realise at the time of ordering but when I got the order confirmation I noticed, one of the items had not received the discount, so I emailed straight away.

The lady patronisingly stated I had entered the sale too early. I had provided evidence to support my claim and kept pressing to never hear from them again.

I’ve sent multiple emails and they just keep ignoring them.

DO NOT TRUST THEM with any complaints and from what I’ve discovered through others is their returns policy is brutal.

Now the clothes I ordered are a great fit, feel good on, very thankful and I’m happy.
I’ve given 1 star because I despise being conned, ignored and belittled. Such a shame their products are overshadowed by their greed, rudeness and arrogance.

Unfortunately the only down side to this great store is the fact you can’t get refunds only exchange or store credit(for 3 years). Bought a beautiful jumpsuit, which fits everywhere except I’m too long in to torso, so doesn’t sit right.
Nothing else jumps out at me like this did, which is sad. Will just have sell online to recoup my money.

The dresses are lovely and true to size but the returns process is an absolute joke. One of the worst returns processes I have ever seen. It has actually put me off ever buying a dress from them again after recently spending over $1000 on items from this store. The handbag I purchased was really poorly made with damage and glue hanging off it but after trying to return one dress and being stuffed around now for 3 weeks, I just tossed the handbag as I purchased it on sale.

Buyer beware. The return ribbon is such a ridiculous idea. There was no flyer in my first order to say it couldn't be removed. You couldn't try the dress on because the ribbon was put on in such a stupid way, you had to cut it off to try on the dress. The dress was the incorrect size. It was my first order from them so I immediately returned the dress, within an hour of receiving it by post. I then ordered the correct size. Despite the dress being immediately returned in perfect condition, they refused the refund and said they would return the dress in a subsequent order. I placed two more orders and never received my dress back. I have followed up again about why the dress wasn't returned and customer service has flat out ignored me. So not only did I not receive a refund or store credit, I did not get the dress back either. By Amica have essentially ripped me off $130. It may not be a lot of money, but they have lost a customer who would have spent a lot of money with them over time.

Get your act together with customer service and returns.

Update: After 4 weeks of wasting my time and charging another $10, the dress is finally being returned to me. If there is any damage, I will update again. As I said their returns process is woeful. Just hope you get the right size and don't need to return anything. They don't care about customer loyalty in my experience.

Out of an order half my items were faulty. Had a horrible time with the return process. They would only acknowledge one faulty item for a refund. The other they refused a refund for dispute sending clear pictures that showed a manufacturer fault. Items were cheaply made and just a difficult company to work with for returns. Definitely don't recommend

I bought two dresses online through this company, but when they arrived they really didn't suit my body shape and size at all. I think that Amica should offer refunds instead of store credits. It's very hard with online purchases to know what the garments are going to look like when worn. A store credit forces you into spending the money in store, which is a waste when you know that the garments wont suit your body type. Lots of other online retailers do offer refunds, so I think they should.

I purchased the blue floral Kamala dress for an event, the dress is beautiful quality and came quite quickly. I was 3 months postpartum at the time and got my size wrong 🫣 but that was no problem because the exchange was simple, quick and hassle free. I received the correct size and got lots of compliments at the wedding. (And I could breastfeed in it as well for anyone needing that). Highly recommend.

Have bought multiple dresses from By Amica and love them! Great quality and fit. Beautiful designs, even in bigger sizes which is not always easy to find. Their dresses are flattering in all the right places. It’s my ‘go to’ shop for elegant and sexy dresses for any occasion. Such a big range to choose from and super helpful customer service. Highly recommend!!

Love the clothing they offer it’s more elevated than other brands for a similar price. Just always check what fabric the item is before buying but other than that great brand

I love that the model Angel is 155cm or thereabouts tall. It is actually so refreshing to see online clothing on a pocket size model instead of models at least 20cm taller than myself.

I purchased the most beautiful dress to wear to a wedding and I knew exactly where it would sit (knee length).

The whole process to order and delivery was fantastic kept advised the whole process on status.

I will definitely buy again.

The variety and designs are endless. I wanted to keep adding more to my shopping cart but my bank account wouldn’t let me. I live in a rural and remote area and was concerned I couldn’t try on the clothes. Let me assure you they are true to size and what you see online is what you get. My order also arrived within 5 business days too. Very reliable company and will definitely buy again.
