Like multiple other reviews, I’ve had a shocking experience with this brand and would never recommend anyone to trust them.
I purchased a dress (using measurements from the size chart), only for the size chart to be incorrect and the dress to be too small. I had paid extra for the insurance and refund program (a total scam).
I submitted my exchange request, paid my additional $9.95 for the shipping cost of the exchange and waited… and waited, until I followed up to see where my exchange was.
My dress apparently had “pet fur” and they wouldn’t be accepting the refund. Like other reviewers, I do not own a pet.
Despite being a clear breach of ACCC legal standards for sizing charts to be accurate, (and the offensive statement that I contributed the fur), I had a week without any response. After following up they responded and got upset that I didn’t reply within 2 hours of their email.
They have now partially refunded me for the initial order, however I’ve still paid the extra money for the exchange shipping and the original shipping, and no dress in sight.

Today I see on their social media group that they are requesting people submit reviews to win a gift card. A scam to try and hide their negative reviews.
Honestly the most stressful, rude and dismissive experience I’ve ever had with an Australian brand, I’ve never been brought to tears by shopping before. 0 stars if I could, avoid unless you like throwing money down the drain.

By Amica is my go to for high quality clothes and items you don’t see everyone else wearing. I’ve got so many gorgeous dresses from them. Ones I’ve never seen other people wearing. It’s so nice to feel original when you wear their clothing. I love the photos are often show on different sized models. Fast shipping and I’ve never had to make a return but I believe it’s an easy process.

I tried By Amica dresses for a wedding, the one I fell inlove with just didn’t sit right on my body. It was an easy return process and I tried a similar style and absolutely fell inlove. The material is so amazing and the fit is perfect. Definitely a lot of effort put into these dresses and care and consideration for all sizes. It’s my go to recommendation for friends looking for an outfit.

Purchased a few dresses from here, unfortunately some were too small and another just didnt suit my body type. I was able to send back and exchange dor a different size and get a credit for the ones I didn't want. I was then able to purchase 2 more dresses with my credit and they're just so perfect. I wore one dress to my friends wedding and recieved so many compliments, it was perfect for the occasion and was so comfortable to wear all night. They have so many styles of dresses in a bunch of different colours. Very happy!
